Jewels: God's Treasured Possession

The LORD of Hosts has precious stones or jewels in the earth today. A jewel is a gem. It is highly esteemed for its value or worth. It is peculiar and they are found and formed in some of the darkest places. They are mined from the earth and found among hard rocks. Valuable stones such as a ruby or diamond are brought form the earth cut, polished, and many are set on display at the Jeweler. There is a Master Jeweler who has jewels in the earth today. They are those are found in dark places and brought into the light. Most have gone through the pressures of affliction, are being purified, and become more precious to those around them each day. The Diamond of all Diamonds, Pearl of all pearls, Ruby of all rubies, Emerald of all Emeralds, Stone of all Stones is the Lord Jesus Christ. However, those who have repented and remained faithful to Jesus Christ in this earth are Jewels: God’s Treasured Possessions. As we discuss this topic of the faithful remnant, let’s consider 1) The Faithful are Rare (Precious), 2) The Faithful are Radiant (Beautiful), and 3) the Faithful are Remembered. Let’s read Malachi 3:13-18 together this morning get a glimpse of God’s glory and the joy faithfulness brings to His heart.
