Benediction

“To the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be the glory forever.” What can a man say to improve upon these words? Nothing. What can a man say to explain them better? Nothing. They are self explanatory, and they are perfect. All wisdom, all glory, all power, all majesty, all wonder, all praise, all hope, all security, all strength and all might belong to our sovereign king, our ruler, our Lord and to his Christ. May it be true today. May it be true tomorrow. May it be true throughout our times. May it be true a thousand years from now. May it be true when he comes to judge the living and the dead. May it be true when he makes all things new. May it be true when he destroys his enemies in hell. May it be true when he glorifies his saints in heaven. May it be true forever and ever and evermore. Amen.
