It's Meant to Move Us

While we study through 2 Kings, I thought it would be good to throw in some other book studies that apply to the same times and characters we gleaning from in Kings.

I pray these messages encourage and equip you for your assignments today.

There's a difference in what you know and what you have. Maturity narrows the gap of what you know and what you have.

You can have freedom but not know why you have the freedom that you have.

Truth bridges the gap between what we have and what we know.

We can confuse what someone has with what someone knows they have.

Example Jesus said if the son makes you free you are free indeed ~ what you have. Like a child that is free as you are free. But they don't know what they have, how they got what they have, the cost conditions and so on of what they have.

Then he said, you shall know the truth and the truth you know shall make you free. The truth will clue you in on what you have. You start to know, little by little what you've jade all along. The gap between what you have and what you know is narrowing.

Now as it narrows so does the margin of accountability.

As illustrated with the law. A child, like his father is master of all the father has, but what he has and what he knows has a major gap between them. So little by little the school master prepares him and bridges the gap between what he has and what he knows. Truth

What you know about freedom in Christ and the freedom you have in Him are not the same. His Truth will consistently bridge the gap

Think about it: children in America have what you have: they just don't know what they have until they are taught:
