Solution for Survival

Amos addresses the hypocrite in this passage. God saw their ungodliness as the nation was prospering--much of it was hidden, but God could still see.

While Israel thought of herself as beautiful and full of life to live, Amos declared they were actually dead. Sin blinds us to the truth, the present reality in life, and the future.

Seeking God is the way of survival. Seek the Lord and you shall live! As you seek and walk with Him, you will fear no evil. Seek Him and you will survive.
