Using All the Clubs in the Bag

A golfer has a bag of resources designed to help him meet the challenge of every situation he finds himself in. The professional knows what each club can do and has learned to wield them with confidence. God designs situations to increase the faith and godliness of his people. In times of testing we are meant to discover the resources available to us to meet each situation and by doing so we increasingly find out what it means to be numbered among the redeemed. It is remarkable, is it not, to think that all things that pertain to life and godliness are available to us in Christ? Like the golfer who has developed his skills, we need to learn to make use of all the clubs in the bag.
