Proverbs 21.15 says, it is joy
to the just to do judgment, but destruction shall be to the workers
of iniquity. Like many of our Proverbs, this
provides us with a dichotomy. You can either live with the
joy of being among those justified in God's eyes who lived lives
of good judgment and fair treatment of others, or you can be among
the miserable who do not live lives of good judgment, but spend
their time and energy in iniquity only to suffer the consequences
in this life and to spend eternity in an everlasting lake of fire.
That really is what it comes down to. The just do justly and
have joy as a result. The unjust do unjustly and are
eventually destroyed. And of course, that's the point
of Galatians 6-7. Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatsoever man soweth, that
shall he also reap. Sow justly and reap joy. Sow unjustly and reap destruction. And if you want others to treat
you justly, you had better make it your policy to treat others
justly. In the words of Jesus, as we
read in Luke 6 31, and as ye would that men should do to you,
do ye also to them likewise. But we have to keep a balanced
view of these things. The political and religious left
in America talk about things like love and peace and justice,
but their version is a perversion. They call the wickedness of Sodom
love. They promote government-controlled
education, one-party political rule, DEI anti-white and anti-Christian
policies as peace. And they enact Marxist tyranny
and call it justice. Then they accuse those of us
standing up for true love, true peace, and true justice of being
hateful, violent. They accuse us of injustice. And they even have a Bible verse
that they wrest from its context and use as a theme verse for
their perversion in Micah 6.8. He hath showed thee, O man, what
is good, and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly,
and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. When good
is defined by God's word and we do justly and love mercy and
walk humbly with God in accordance to his holy word, that verse
is a wonderful word of guidance and wisdom. But when you're a
leftist, you treat the Bible the way Lucifer does. And Marxists
pretend that abortion isn't murder, and they pretend that sodomy
is love, and they pretend that leftist tyranny is justice. Then
that verse has lost all of its intended meaning. If you do any
amount of research on the websites of apostate denominations and
churches, you'll notice that Micah 6.8 shows up more than
any other single Bible verse from my experience, but it is
useful to their cause when interpreted perversely and almost always,
of course, from the corrupt Bible versions. But we shouldn't let
that deter us from appreciating the true meaning of Micah 6.
Do justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly. That means you will stand for
the protection of the unborn. You will call on sodomites to
repent before their sin destroys them. What they call a lifestyle
is a death style. It also destroys society. The
greater it grows in our midst, and it will be a huge part of
the destructive culture and society of the Great Tribulation under
the Antichrist, the beast. You will walk humbly before God,
seeking to be filled with His Spirit and the knowledge of His
Word so you can sin less and serve Him in holiness. It is joy to the just to do judgment. Love the truth. Live to do right
in God's sight. Surround yourself with believers
in a local church and with friendships. and among loved ones who have
the same desire to live for God's glory. And you'll find more joy
than you can find living any other way. And it starts with
faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ and can only continue
as we grow in faith in accordance to His Word.
