The Serpent and the Seed

When wicked Queen Athaliah tries to kill all the descendants of David, we see an example of the ancient battle for redemption as the serpent attempts to destroy the promised seed. Here in this Old Testament event we see a powerful picture of the promise of Christ kept, and of the soul's coming to rest in Him by faith.
