When THE HELP Stops
When fame and our flesh feeds our pride.
Pride is no respecter of persons. Who you are, where you've been, who you know or how much or little you know... that has absolutely no effect on pride efforts to serve you its best. Take a minute and read about King Uzziah in 2 Chronicles 26 and James 4:6-10. You see all these factors.
Bless it, Lord... what a word! Help Your servants see beyond this physical world and enter in to the realm of seeing your glory and that You open the ears and eyes of men to see and hear what this world can't see, hear or know. You opened eyes and ears to see and hear Your angels surrounding Your servant Elisha (2 Kings 6 (Dothan) and 2 Kings 7 (Samaria, when the Syrian army heard the army of angels surrounding the prophet and fled during he siege). Why did they see and hear? Because You do whatever You please... and nothing on earth can prevent Your wondrous work — and Your people need to see this truth, Your glory, that You do what You want when You want. (Psalms 115:1-3 ; Psalms 90:13-17). Glory be!
I will meditate on all Your work and talk of Your deeds. Who is so great a God as our God? He is the God who only does wonders. Psalm 77:10-14
