The G.O.A.T

Here the disciples were again, right on the eve of the Lord's death, arguing over which of them was the greatest! How rude. How would you define greatness? Money, power, self-esteem, accomplishments, good looks? Jesus defines greatness differently than so-called human wisdom, and of course the Creator is correct. Ambition and competition are rooted deep in the human heart. Many think they are humble but cannot stand to see someone else succeed in something. Rather than rejoicing with them, they are jealous. If that is what is going on in your heart, your perspective needs a holy realignment. We all have to keep re-learning this fundamental lesson: The greatest in God's sight are those who humbly serve God by serving others. Our prime example is Jesus, the greatest of all time!
