Lord's Day 25 is a transitional LD. The catechism is a Reformation document and as a result spends a significant portion better explaining the sacraments and the associated doctrines. Preaching and the sacraments are the vehicle whereby God imparts His Grace. These are the means of grace where we can live out an active and living Faith. God works this out through the preaching of the Gospel and confirms it with the sacraments as the means of His Grace.
