I'm glad that you made your way down to this place this evening. We need the Lord more than anything. We've got to have him. I thought he was talking there in the prayer room about everybody had somebody that they had in their family or in their life at one point that knew the Lord. and walked away from him, and I couldn't help but think we almost got more backslid today than there is lost people. And I have said it a lot, it is hard to win people back that know the Lord and that have walked away from him, but he is all that there is. And the devil's got a hold on people. And there's only one that can change us and that can help us, and that's the Lord. Amen. One of these days, it's gonna be over with. He's gonna wind it all up, and how a tree falls is how it lays. Who's to say that that won't be tonight? That won't be tomorrow. I know, even that it's a little different tonight, and we don't have even the normal faces and everything. I am glad that He's got on Wednesday the same as He is on Sunday. Brother Charlie Frazier called me there this evening, and they have their midweek service on Tuesday. And he said, I almost have more liberty on the midweek service than I do on Sunday. And he said, he is just glad that he has got all of the time. I am thankful for that. He don't have no set time or no set days. He's worthy of praise all the time, worthy of worship all the time, and he expects us to live for him all the time. That's more than some people can handle, that can fathom, but if they want to get tired, they'll have to take it. Amen, so Lord help us all tonight to just be obedient under what he'd have us do. Amen, now Lord willing, let's pray much for revival there next week. Amen, let's pray for the rest of the service tonight, even service Friday night, even if the Lord would just help us. We need him. I don't care how many times you've said you don't want him. And you don't love him. He loves you. Praise the Lord. Put his arm around him. Son, let's get in the house. Well, daddy, I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy to be called your son no more. I didn't mean it to you. Let me tell you just how good the Lord is. Just how merciful that the Lord is. Luke chapter 15 verse 20, the Bible said he arose, came to his father. When he was a great way off, had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck, and kissed him, and said, and the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in my sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. What did daddy do? Did he say, son, you're all right, you just get out there and just clean out the barn, clean out the gutters, you ain't my son no more. And I will say, but the father said to his servant, bring forth the best robe, and put it on him, and put it on his hand, and shoes on his feet, and bring him the fatted calf and kill him, and let us eat and be merry. For this my son, did he say, servant? For this my son was dead, now I live so I can hear. Listen, you can turn him away. You can turn him away tonight. You can walk out and say you don't want him. But honey, there'll be a day when you're gonna need him. But there'll be a time when you're alone for him. You'll beg for death and it'll flee from you. But oh, listen, if we'll just come to ourself and realize where we are. He said, I'll never leave you, nor forsake you. He'll meet you a great way off and welcome you back home. You reckon that daddy would have brought him back in, Jack, if he'd have showed up on the steps and didn't apologize? I believe they took an apology, don't you? Repentance is key. They ain't preach much no more. They ain't talk about much no more. But repentance. There's a price paid. Amen. That don't even do it justice. We can't even imagine. I mean, look at that. That ought to stir us. As he run down, the men walked by him, railed on him. Me and Tate, that man that he said he was the son of God, look at him now. And at any time while he hung there, he could have said it ain't worth it. They're gonna turn their back on me. They're going to walk away from me. They're going to backslide. They're not going to trust me. But he stayed there. Isn't that amazing? I said this so much. He stayed there for you. You may have turned your back on him, but he hung there for you. He give every drop of blood he had for you. Amen. Amen, brother. Isaiah said, you know, after all this, his anger's not kindled, but his hand is outstretched to you. Amen. Amen. Bless you, Lord.
