The Gospel of Forbearance

God's forbearance is a vital article of the gospel of His grace. Forbearance declares God deliberately delayed judging the sins of His elect until the propitiation of Jesus Christ. Paul carefully placed propitiation and forbearance before illustrating justification by the representation of Christ through Abraham and David in chapter four. The first prophecy of Christ and blood-redemption in Genesis 3:15 is enfolded in God's forbearance.
