Unity Facing Opposition

As Paul visits Jerusalem for the last time, James and the elders all greet him warmly. However, false reports and gossip have led many zealous Jewish believers to think that Paul is teaching Jews not to follow any of their customs or traditions. Not only is this threatening the Gospel going forth to the Gentiles but it is personally threatening Paul himself. Another reminder that all, Jew or Gentile, are saved by grace through faith in Christ.
