You know in Ephesians, you see how their foolish heart was darkened. You see darkness in the heart. You know, we don't like to go out in the dark. We take a flashlight or some kind of lamp. But, because they did not want to acknowledge God, their foolish heart Now, what a darkness is over not only our families, but over whole countries. Now, I cannot see how anybody can equate a monkey and call him God. Or equate him to God. Or an elephant. You see, there is a season when many people worship a half elephant and half boy. Why do they do it? They say our business will prosper. So the Bible says in Ephesians fourth chapter and the 18th verse, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, You see, separated from the life of God. You know, my friends, the Bible tells us that we are made in the image of God. Now, what part of that image remains? Anything remaining which is purely God-like? No. See, we behave in a devilish fashion. Now, here you have got to define sin. Now, if I know that I am endangered by something, then I protect myself. But, When I am completely ignorant of the danger, of course I can't defend myself. And I don't defend myself. I am ignorant. Sin, the thought of foolishness is sin, says the Bible. The thought of foolishness. Now my head was full of the thoughts of foolishness. And you know, I did not have a television as a young student. But, you know, my very mind was corrupt. I had read certain books. I didn't have to read them as a literature student. But I said these are books that suit my taste. All right. What do you do when you turn the television? You go to those sites where the carnal part of you gets satisfied. Unclean sites. No, you have got it even on your cell phone now. And I am told that there are so many cell phones in India. What does that tell me? Not that all of us have become extremely busy, or we want to do everything on time, but It kind of satisfies our vanity to be going on gudugudua, gudugudua, gudugudua. And you don't even watch the traffic. Gudugudua, gudugudua. I don't know if you're talking such important things. And I don't know how big your telephone bill is. But even children have cell phones these days. Do they know how to use it? No. They are texting somebody even in meetings like this. Of course, in my meetings I don't permit such things. And what good will come out of you? See, prayer is impossible. Your television takes up all the time or your cell phone or something else. The thought of foolishness is sin. My dear friends, what are your thoughts? You see, as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Because out of the heart proceed evil thoughts. and the devil of suspicion. You know, I find it very difficult to cast out that devil. You know, the husband suspecting the wife or the wife suspecting the husband. What? What did you promise at your wedding? For better or for worse. You know, to be faithful to your wife. You know, even adultery is a play thing today. Oh, people are saying, wow, on our temples we have those depictions. So our gods were not afraid of adultery? Listen friends, a god who is not holy is not god but the devil. Now, there is no consciousness of immoral sins. So, one young man said to me, I have ruined my body. Another preacher said to my father, wherever you go, Mr. Daniel, tell the people about me. I gave this terrible disease to my wife. My dear friends, I have to preach in some places where AIDS and HIV are so prevalent. And many of them are Christian boys and girls. How is that possible? How sad this is. Holiness unto the Lord. Holiness without which no man can see God. My friends, you know there is on the one side, on the better side of a man, He says, oh, I want to be rid of this wicked life. Let me live a clean life in this new year. Now, What a man brings into the house is very important. Wherever you may commit evil or sin, you eventually come home. And to whom do you pass on the fruit of your sin? To your children. One woman said to me, six children died soon after birth. What? Some women say, just when I am bringing forth my child, an evil spirit approaches and says, I am taking your child. My dear friend, And when you are subject to idols, the spirit of fear grips you and you say, let me go and give offer this gold to this idol. What? You need to offer gold? Or an enormous sum of money? In order that you appease your idol? What? No, my friends. God says, come unto me, all you that labor. Whatever is causing you that drudgery and heaviness, The Lord will deliver you. Now in Isaiah 31, Let's read 6 and 7. Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted. Turn. That's repentance. No. You know some of these sunflowers, they just turn towards the sun. Now, we have turned away from the sun of righteousness. God says, turn! You know the left turn and the right turn. And you are constantly doing that. And when you give directions, go straight, turn left, and you will come to that street or something. So, Don't tell me that you cannot turn. The Spirit of God will help you to turn from all evil. It is sad that some of our families have a heritage of adultery. You know, people say, my grandfather was like this, and my father, and I am just like that. My dear friends, you know, this generational curse is a terrible thing. You know, I'm a father of five children. I don't want to give any weakness of mine to my children. Of course, I will not give to them money. Because I have not gathered money. But a normal father, you know, when he dies, he leaves a little legacy. Whereas I have spent all the money which God has entrusted to me to build his work. So, Hey, what is the legacy you're giving your children? The legacy of revival? The legacy of God's promises? You know, my father left me a wonderful legacy. You know the legacy of faith. I saw my father, unperturbable. Whatever the situation, one day, We were 500 miles away from home. My dad had been preaching there. And he must take his four children and wife and himself of course. They'll return 500 miles. 500 miles means 800 kilometers. And he had no money. God said, go to the station. So my father marched us to the station with no money for the tickets. God provided the tickets right there in the station. You know, some of you may have travelled ticketless. Return that money to the railway. Oh no man, anything. So my father gave me the legacy of faith. That's all I want to give my children. Oh, what an inexhaustible legacy this is. The legacy of faith in Jesus Christ. I don't know what your sin has done. But one thing I know, if I hide sin, I will do so much harm to so many innocent people. Friends, Sin is sin. Whatever your tradition may say, there is a philosophy in this country which says there is no sin. What? My dear friend, When we come to the cross, we see a real picture of our condition. Let us pray. Let us pray. Precious Lord, I commend these dear people to you. We don't want sin in the camp. Oh, we don't want death in the camp. Oh, we want your touch in the camp. We want your touch upon our families. We want your blessing upon our children. We don't want to leave a curse as a legacy. Oh Lord, you took our sins upon the cross. Oh Father, we thank you that Jesus took my sins with all its ugliness, with all its horrible consequences. Oh Lord, you took my sins upon your sinless body. Have mercy on this poor fellowship. We don't want to run before our enemies. Lord, if we disobey, You said we will run before our enemy. We can't run before idolatry. Oh my father, we have sinned and lost your power. Have mercy upon us. Have mercy upon us. In Jesus' holy name, Amen.
