Hypocrites Are Good for Something

Hypocrites have been here since the world began. Cain, the first man born on earth, was a hypocrite. He was also a murderer. Jesus called them out with the sharpest words possible, because there were many in that day, and they were also murderers; they murdered the Lord. It is delusional to think that we could somehow rid the churches, or the homes, or the government of hypocrites now, or ever, in such a world as this. However, they do serve an important purpose. Hypocrites are what separate God's true people from all the rest. We can tell to whom a person belongs by the way he is affected by a hypocrite. A true child of God will draw closer to God, but all the rest will condemn the righteous with the hypocrite.
