The Doctrines of Grace: Unconditional Election (Part III)

348 ( 256 | 92 )

In our Lord's Day message this week we conclude our look at the doctrine of Unconditional Election. As the second point, or the "U" in the well-known acronym TULIP, Unconditional Election is often viewed as one of the more controversial Doctrines of Grace (Five Points of Calvinism). Over the past couple of weeks, as we've been seeing, those who are opposed to the doctrine of Unconditional Election must contend with numerous passages throughout Scripture that support it. Is it fair for God to only choose to save some? Do we deserve Mercy? Are we saved or elect even if our lives don't reflect, and aren't being conformed to the image of Christs? Does Jesus pray for everyone? What about how this doctrine should apply to our lives? To our sanctification and responsibilities as Christians? We pray that you'll join us for "The Doctrines of Grace: Unconditional Election (Part III)" as we focus in on New Testament examples that will attempt to answer these questions and more!
