Be Courageous!

80 ( 64 | 16 )

The story of Jesus walking on the water takes place right after the feeding of the 5,000. Jesus made his disciples get into the boat then He went to the hills for solitude and a time of prayer. Meanwhile, the disciples began to struggle as the wind pounded against their boat. It is in that chilling sight that Jesus came walking on water, adding to the disciples' dismay. And because they mistook Him for a ghost, Jesus spoke to their fear commanding them not to be afraid and assuring them of His presence, saying, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." And the rest is history.

We may not always know why the Lord waits, but we can be sure that he knows everything and that He is ministering and caring for us and will never leave us. We can trust in the Lord when we are exhausted and in deepest despair to reveal Himself to us as the one, we can always rely on!
