To understand our times, it is necessary to understand the Biblical perspective of Israel. Israel holds a unique position in the world as the favored nation of God with prophetic significance.
Even when exiled and scattered out of Israel, with the seeming disappearance of Israel, it would be wrong to dismiss them as unimportant and to ignore them.
Despite their history of periodic dispersions, disappearances, and lost records in history, Israel will always rise again. It is a guarantee from God. It is God's promise. And in the end, Israel will be preeminent, not forsaken. Israel is here to stay and will always be a vital part of human history, past, present, and future.
