Preparing the Mind to Suffer

In light of the rising hostility toward Christians, Peter calls his Christian readers to "arm" or "prepare" themselves as if for battle. Of course, he's not talking about preparing for physical combat, but preparing for real suffering that is to come for the sake of following Christ.
