Three Lessons Camped At Ebenezer

Our Lord teaches his people three things in their defeat by the Philistines. First, we will not free ourselves of our oppressors. The Lord alone is our deliverer. Second, we will not be blessed in the form of our religion or practice of it. All our blessings are given in Christ alone. Third, we will be settled in the gospel of Christ. God teaches us that Christ is all our salvation.
