Hezekiah Part I: Sennacherib's Challenge

In Isaiah 36:1-37:7, we see 3 royal messages delivered as
Sennacherib, King of Assyria, invades Judah.
I. Rabshakeh delivers a royal message from King
Sennacherib.
A. The envoys gather (36:1-3).
B. The message is given:

1. Faith alone will not save you
   (36:4-10).
   Interventional Interlude (36:11-12).
2. Hezekiah and his God cannot deliver
   you (36:13-20).

II. King Hezekiah delivers a royal message to Isaiah
(36:21-37:4).

III. Yahweh delivers a Royal message to King
Hezekiah.
A. Do not be afraid of the words of this king
(37:5-6).
B. I will defeat this king (37:7).
