God's Powerful Word

So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed." The message of the cross is the power of God. The God of heaven who empowered the Gospel in Ephesus can do so today. We are challenged to be obedient to the divine will and to believe that God and His word are powerful.

When Paul realizes the seed is falling on stony ground, he moves on and goes to the school of Tyrannus. Here God blesses the word with growth. We are challenged to plant the seed and witness, never being lazy in these matters.
