about 2,000 years ago. Do you know what? This past week, I have just rejoiced in the Scripture. Have you ever had a week like that? It's wonderful, isn't it? And as we were just singing that, the haven of rest, I saw, and in the second verse it said, and faith taking hold of the Word. Faith grasping opening it up for us. Part of my teaching, to be honest with you, is to convince you, show you, encourage you, the Bible is true to the jot and tittle. There's absolutely no doubt about that. And some of the things we're going to show you this morning relates to that. And I hope we get to what you see there on the board behind me. I don't know that we will. Because there's so much going on in the world today, that as I study, the Lord seems to send some of these things to me. And of course, Mallory, by the way, if you're listening, I want to tell you, we're praying for you. And Leslie, just know we are. We love you. Anyway, I wanted to say that because they may be listening this morning from home. But Dr. Brown and I communicate a lot, as you probably know by now. He wants me to write a book with him, so we've already started that. But in the process of communicating, we come across things that excite us, and we share it with one another. You should have someone like that. That's also someone that keeps you accountable. Okay? Keeps you on the right track. We all need that. I don't know about you, but I certainly do. So, let's dig in today and see what the Lord has for us. You see the slide on the screen, and that's what the Lord has shown me in the last week or so as I have studied these things. But that's not just the only slide. Here's another slide for you. And all of those are in just a few verses in the book of Galatians. And I think what we should probably do, I don't ever want to neglect the Word of God, but read those passages this morning in Galatians. So take your Bibles and turn to chapter 3. And the last time we were able to be in the book of Galatians, we were in chapter 3, and we stopped at verse 17. Chapter 3 of Galatians and verse 17. So let's read 18 together. Chapter 3 of Galatians, verse 18, the inheritance be of the law, it is no more promise, but God gave it to Abraham by promise." Verse 19, "...wherefore then serveth the law..." You see the first one up there? "...the law and serveth. It was added because of transgressions till the seed should come, to whom the promise was made, and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator." Verse 20. Now, a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. I'll be honest with you, that verse, through me, I had to really dig and pray to understand that verse. And you're going to have verses like that, incidentally, as you read and study. And this was one for me. What is it talking about? Now, a mediator is a mediator of one, but is not a mediator of one, doesn't it say? Yeah, it's not a mediator of one, but God is one. What in the world does that mean? How do we apply that to this book and what God has been trying to tell us? Well, we'll get to that. Maybe not this week, but coming up. Verse 21, "...is the law then against the promises of God?" By the way, what are the promises of God? Is it a covenant? Does covenant mean promise? Well, let me just throw out something to you. Usually a promise is just a part of a covenant. You understand that? If you sign a contract, There may be certain promises in that contract which is a covenant. So, just be aware of that. I'll just throw that out to you now. Is the law, verse 21, is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid, for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith, which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized in the Christ have put on Christ." And we'll deal with that, put on Christ. What does that mean? As we get into these verses. Verse 28, there's neither Jew nor Greek, neither Zerbon nor free. There is neither male nor female, for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ, then are ye Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." Chapter 4, verse 1. Now, I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be Lord of all. but as under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the Father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law." We'll stop there for now. So those are the verses that I had been dealing with, and this is the outline that I came up with. But, I want to go back. a little bit to our last few Sundays. Because this is serious business today. I mean really serious. When Dr. Brown was here, we took an afternoon or a morning, I can't remember, it was a morning, I remember now. We went over to Clayton to my grandson's new office there in Clayton. And while we were there, the ladies wanted to go shopping. Does that surprise you? I think it's in their blood. Anyway, we decided, okay, I give in. We'll go shopping. So we drove up to the main street of Clayton, got out, and there was an antique shop right there. We said, well, let's go in, because Dr. Brown collects. He does a lot of collecting of things. as you saw from his museum. That's not the only thing he collects. He collects a lot of things. So we walk in the antique shop and Pat and I went one way and Linda and David went the other way. It wasn't two minutes and Dr. Brand came running back and said, look what I found. I said, what? He said, it's a symptom of our age. You ready? This is really going to slay you after what we've been talking about. And it's even still wrapped. I haven't even unwrapped it, but let me unwrap it. This is how sick the world is today. Can you read it? All right, this is for sale in a shot. Edwin, I don't know whether you can focus on that, because what I'm going to do is burn it. Okay? I think that's horrible that we were able to find this in that shot. I love Jesus, but I drink a little bit. You see, that's because people do not know what the Scriptures say today. There's nothing wrong with a little nip now and then, a little drink. But I thought I had to show you this. Did you get it, Ed? Okay. That's what it is. It's garbage, okay? No doubt about it. But I wanted to show you that because it is so significant. David and Barbara, do I get in your way when I stand over here? Okay. Are you ready for you know not and you think not? Are you ready? That's a question mark. Are you ready? Because maybe you're not, you know not, and you think not. And here's what the Scripture says, Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as you think not, the Son of Man cometh. Similarly, in Matthew 25, 13, "'Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh.'" It's just this kind of stuff that convinces us. But what do you see what I found this past week? Okay? "'Ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh.'" But we know He's coming, don't we? In Luke 12, 40, it says, "...be ye therefore ready..." Are you ready? "...for the Son of Man cometh." He's coming. That's just a flat statement. At an hour when you think not, most of the world is just going on in their casual way, baptizing, or excuse me, drinking, and eating, and marrying, giving no thought to the truth. 1 Corinthians 15, 52, "...in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye." How often do we say that in church, right? That's a glimmer of light. That's just a glint of light. One fifty thousandths of a second. That's how fast it'll be. You're not going to have time to get ready. You need to Be ready. At the last trump, for the trump shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." You remember my patient doctor, well, it doesn't matter his name. I've told you about him many times. The elderly man who was in my practice, lived to be 104. He used to come in and he did more for me than I did for him. He was just so looking forward to getting rid of that old vile body and receiving that renewed, glorified body. He just could not wait. But he was a grand old fellow, preached 70 years. Grand man. Revelation 13, verse 4, "...And they worshipped the dragon, which gave power unto the beast, And they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? That's in Revelation, right? You all know that verse. In Revelation 13, 15, And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, an AI robot, I believe without a doubt. That's what it's talking about. And I'm going to show you a video in just a moment here, that the image of the beast should both speak and calls that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." They have that ability now. Wait until you see this video. I'm going to show you in just a moment. Where did I get it? Well, it's another thing Dr. Brown happened to send me. He came across it. And Brother Edmund, bless his heart, he clipped the video for just a few minutes that I wanted him to clip out because it's about an hour long. But that whole video was about what's happening in the world, the changes we're seeing, the beast, the antichrist, and the second beast, the false prophet, and the power that's given unto the beast by whom? Satan, the devil. And you see it. Everywhere. So hang in there now. Okay? This is from my book. I wanted to review it with you. Sign number one. Artificially intelligent robots. And that's the verse, Revelation 13, 15. I know it's hard for you to see, but this is sign number one. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast. We just read that. that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And again, one of the things I do when I teach is to try to gain your confidence in the scripture, see. That's what it's really all about. Because we can't begin to teach you, or the pastor can't preach to you enough Or the other teachers teach the kids downstairs in a couple of hours a week. Just no way. You've got to have confidence in the scripture that they're true and they are true to the jot and the tittle. You must be convinced of that. And then the thing I posted on our web page this week is that something John Bergen said. Now, John Bergen was a great defender of the Scriptures. And he said, we get into the habit of reading the words of God fast. Fast. Just read them, get it over with, lay it down, go our way. Instead of loving the words, going slow and reading them slowly. Now, I tell you that again to convince you of the truth of Scripture and how important it is. Anyway, here's what I said. Only an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God could see the future and be able to cause the Apostle John to record these words. You think about that. Probably 90, about 90 AD, the book of Revelation was written by John when he was given the vision on the Isle of Patmos, as you know, just off of the coast of Asia Minor on that island. And he recorded those words. So it's about 2,000 years ago, let's say. How could anyone record this kind of truth that long ago unless God be omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent? Outside of time and space and matter. Remember, we've talked about that. That third heaven is outside of all of this. That's where God reigns. and can enter into time, if need be, as Jesus Christ did, or even as His angels can do. Enter into, you entertain angels unaware, the scripture says. So how could these words be written 2,000 years ago that an image would speak and kill? How can it be? And I went on to say, let's see if I can find it. The apostle recorded that he, the Antichrist, had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image would speak and cause those to be killed who would not worship the image that will be made to look like the Antichrist. Until recently, we do not know of anyone who has suggested, in other words, down through the years, No one saw that any possibility of an artificially intelligent robot would be made until now. So are the words of God true? Yeah, they sure are. Until, where are we? Okay. Who would have believed that AI robots would be developed which could look human, speak and obey commands, even to kill? Okay, I'm going to show you a brief video. Let me just tell you a little bit about it. First of all, it's about a artificial intelligent person on TV speaking that you wouldn't even know is not a robot. It looks so human. That's where we are today. And what it's going to explain to you, if you listen carefully now, there's going to be some Japanese, Chinese language in it, but I want you to read the captions across the bottom primarily of this video. And it's about the deceiving that the Antichrist and the Beast, the false prophet, are going to utilize to fool people, to deceive them. Are you ready? Okay, Ed, go ahead. said this recently, that in the future, the people that you see presenting your news will not really even be actual human beings. They will be computer generated images of persons, simulations of persons, based on the preferences of an audience sample from which they have decided which features are favorable, as far as engendering trust, and the willingness to rely on your news presenter for the news you really need to know. And only the news you need to know. Well, it's happened. Take a look at this. Now keep in mind this is just the release. In the coming months, let alone years, she will be even more realistic in her appearance, mannerisms, and humanism on orders of magnitude than what you just saw. Furthermore, because of the digital manipulation capability, hmm, DMC, run from DMC, run away from the digital manipulation capability. Again, I say, Jim up the road here is not gonna be even getting the same news that Tom down the block there is getting. It'll be customized to you. And the commercials that appear will be drawn from a bank of many commercials based on all the spying that Google, Amazon, and others have done in quantifying your buying preferences and what things are likely to interest you that you have not purchased or maybe even heard of yet, that advertising will be targeted to the individual. I guess you know that Google and Facebook and other organizations are collecting information on you right and left. They have books, volumes of books on you. I don't know about you, but if I research to buy something, the next few days I get ad after ad after ad concerning that thing I was researching, though I may have already bought what I wanted. Let me go back. So, if you don't yield to the one world government and what it wants you to do, you're going to be in trouble. See, that's what communism, remember we talked about socialism and communism, that's what it's all about. And I guess you heard this A.O. Cortez, she says, forget everybody else, I'm in charge. those in Congress. Now she's in charge. That's the attitude, again, that these people have. And they, it looks like they're going to, they're getting a lot of votes. You saw how Bernie, what's his name, Bernie? Yeah. Six million dollars in one day he raised. It's all lining up. That's the point of all of this. So be ready. Trust your Bible. Because even the elect could be deceived. Now, I want to show you something else. Wicca. It's exploding in this country. I told you recently that it's now a religion in the service, the military service. Ray, I showed you that article from the Navy News, I believe it was. a community of followers of Wicca religion. So it's now classified as a religion in our country. And look at this. And I forgot to say where I got this, but it's on several sites on the internet. There are now more Wiccans than there are Presbyterians in this nation. Wicca has effectively repackaged witchcraft. This is what they're telling the kids, you see, for millennial consumption. No longer are witchcraft and paganism satanic and demonic, they say. It's a pre-Christian tradition that promotes free thought and understanding of earth and nature. Now some of your kids are going to be interested in this, because I know in some of our schools, some of the teachers are witches. And they're going to try to seduce your children into believing this stuff that's really satanically stimulated. This is about Wicca. While they do not deny they are practicing witchcraft, Wiccans say that theirs is a harmless magic. Yeah. Many come to Wicca after reading a history of the faith, its teachings and its rituals called the Spiritual Dance, a rebirth of the ancient religion of the great goddess, Diana and Astaroth and all those other names that the scripture mentions. It's just a repackaging to seduce our children in this nation. A book that was written under the name Starhawk who is actually Miriam Simoes a California witch Look at this Well, I thought I had it there Well, we'll come to it And I want to review this again the tetrahydrocannabinol It's really abbreviated THC and we like to see and say THC because it abbreviates this and and the lie. Again, we're back to marijuana again. These are just things I've seen this past week that you need to know about. Last July, a large four-year study of Australian patients with chronic pain showed that cannabis, THC, use was associated with greater pain over time. You see how they're getting marijuana in? Oh, it helps the people dying of cancer and those suffering from chronic severe pain. It's a lie. It's not true. It's a gateway drug. And I wanted to show you this again. There was another study done over in Europe. This is a study done in Australia. Four years they studied this. Greater pain rather than less pain. And I just heard this week this Cory Brooker and a couple of other people say, oh, we need it here because it helps people with pain. A lie again. Who's the liar and deceiver? Okay. Marijuana carries not only a devastating physical health risk, but also mental health dangers. Now, they won't tell you this either. Look what it causes. In 2017, National Academy of Medicine study found that cannabis use is likely to increase the risk of developing Schizophrenia and other psychoses. Schizophrenia. That's a complete loss with reality if you don't know that. That's one of the ways we diagnose schizophrenia. Just a loss of reality. They see visions, have hallucinations, but now the truth is marijuana helps precipitate it. And we've seen in the United States this tremendous increase and schizophrenia and other psychoses. It's not neuroses, psychoses, a break in the mind. But we're also seeing neurotic problems. Regular cannabis use is likely to increase the risk for developing social anxiety disorder. They call that SAD. Remember when we talked about SAD at Christmas time, seasonal affective disorder? Maybe that's why we're seeing so much depression now around the country. It's from that use of drugs, recreational drugs, because it's not harmful. It's okay. It's no worse than alcohol. Remember this guy? I don't know what happened over here. But this guy, I can't stand to watch the news this past week. Every time I turned it on, it was about this gay black man who set up that fraudulent attack on him. It's the LGBTQ agenda. And they're pushing that again very heavily. And no matter that he lied and was a fraud, he's a gay man, gay black man. So we're going to just let him go. That's what they think and say, see. There's his name, Smollett. And here's another one. One of the best-selling books according to the New York Times best-selling list. Now why are we doing this? Again, to show you where we are in the timeline, and again, emphasize to you, the scripture said all these things were going to happen. How could it be when it was written so long ago? Only by an O-O-O God could that be the case. This is the best-selling book, one of the best-sellings on the New York Times list, Buddha, A Story of Enlightenment. Wow. People are reading this stuff and believing it. By the way, when I interviewed Vicky on the faculty of the University of Kentucky, and I was hired, but I didn't go. And there's a lot of reasons why I didn't go. But one of the faculty members there interviewed me. He was a Buddhist. And I wondered why they sent him to interview me. And later I found out they wanted to know if I was going to be antagonistic to other people. I tell you this is because, no, we're not to be antagonistic to people who don't believe like we believe. We are to love them and love them into the kingdom, not attack them and criticize them. It's just like others bringing a different Bible into the church. We don't attack them. We love them. And gradually they'll come to realize, as the pastor reads the King James Bible, they don't have a Bible that says the same thing his Bible says. Similarly here, Luke 18, 8. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? There's so much of this going on. There's so little faith by anybody. That's why there's so few here, even in our church. The pews ought to be filled because they're getting waylaid by Buddha, a story of enlightenment. Here's another one, another best-selling book, Meditation Secrets for Women. Remember what I told you about meditation last week? That book is teaching just what I told you about. In that position with the book over the head, remember? Empty your mind. And they're calling it in schools now mindfulness, which is really a meditation technique to chant and visualize a thing over and over again. Okay, you want enlightenment? Here's where you get it. Ephesians 1.18, "...the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling." What is the hope of God's calling? Titus 2.13, "...looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing." That's the Lord Jesus Christ. That's the blessed hope. of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." What is all that about? Well, we just read that in Galatians. We're going to talk about it some more when we get back to the law. What the eye is to the body, look at this now, the mind is to the soul. Remember, we talked about The way man is made up. Spirit, soul, and body. And what's the soul? Mind, emotion, and will. So what is the I of the mind? The mind is to the soul like the I is to the body. Hebrews 10.32, "...but call to remembrance the former days in which after ye were illuminated," that's enlightened, "...ye endured a great fight of afflictions." What does that mean? Well, the devil's going to do everything he can to attack you when you read and study the Scriptures. He's going to cause you to doubt. He's going to cause you to, ah, I'm not going to read this thing. The other reason, of course, is because it's convicting. But the reason I'm taking you through this again is to convince you the Bible is true, it is the Word of God, it is His love letter to you to keep you out of trouble. And to get you ready for His imminent, at any moment, twinkling of an eye, return. Okay. 1 Corinthians 2.13, "...which things also we speak, not in the words," catch this, "...which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." Paul knew he was receiving the words of God to record and to teach those in the early days before the New Testament was written. Now, I've never received the words of God to record them. So I have no idea what that experience is like. But Paul did, and he knew he was receiving the words of God. Peter even convested in his writings that Paul's words were Scripture. And I forgot to pull that out, but that is the truth. Paul's saying, "...what things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." They're spiritual words. Have you received the Word of God? Well, this calls also, this is 1 Thessalonians 2.13. Remember we were in Thessalonians? Do you remember reading all this? Maybe not. For this cause also, thank we God, without ceasing, because when ye received the word of God, which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth the word of God, which effectively worketh also in you that believe." So what is enlightenment? Is it Buddha? Is it some other Bible? Some other religion is considering the Koran, that's what I'm thinking about, the Word of God. Absolutely not. The Koran is so wrong in so many places. Contradictions throughout the Koran, if you don't know that. It is. Same with the Apocrypha, if you don't know that. That's the books written in the silent period between the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Pseudo-Epigrapha and the Apocrypha. They conflict. They're false. Why were they included in the 1611 King James Bible? Well, they were asked to put them throughout the Bible, but they refused. Why? Because they knew they were not the words of God. They're only good, if you realize this, so that you get an idea about history during that period of time. That's the only reason they're useful. They're not the Word of God, and I want to throw that out to you. The Apocrypha and the Pseudo-Epigrapha are not the Word of God, included in the 1611. And by the way, we have people who come against us. Oh, the King James Bible? Oh, they included the Apocrypha and the Pseudo-Epigrapha in the King James Bible. How can you like that Bible? You know, they attack us for that. So you need to know that answer too. Okay. Okay, here it is. Wow. The prophetic impact of a U.S. withdrawal from Syria. And I just heard this morning that from my sweet wife. She knew I had this slide in here, I guess. But they are not withdrawing all the troops from Syria. They're going to leave some 400 there now. Okay, but this still applies because they went from 4,000 down to 400. Now look at this. Long ago, the prophet Ezekiel described an invading force that will form in the last days. In Ezekiel 38 and 39, he describes this force in detail, which includes Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Is it possible the U.S. withdrawal just sped up this timetable? I think it has. Look at this. Here's the Ayatollah from Iran, here's Russia, and here's Turkey, locking hands in agreement. They're mentioned in 38 and 39. How would God know that? Here it is. The time is here. Okay, one other, couple other things. Now just to show you, here's Syria, here's Iraq, here's Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Sudan, Ethiopia, all these countries. There's Turkey right there. All around that little strip of land called Israel. Okay? Here it is, Magog and Gog again. Here's Magog up here, that's Russia. Here's Persia, that's Iran. Here's Togemar and Tubal, that's Iraq. Here's Meshach, there's Gomer. Here's Libya, Cush, Put, all these, they're all lining up to attack Israel. How could God know that way back in Ezekiel 38? His book is true, folks. Do you read it? Do you believe it? And again, I'm not preaching at you, I'm preaching to you. There were times in my life when I didn't read it the way I should, or enough. But you need to know. And I guess I've got to quit. There's so much more I wanted to show you. Here it is again, the Magog invasion. There's Magog. Russia, you see. There's Persia. There's Turkey. which is Tubal and Togamara. That's also Syria's involved in that area right there. Sudan and Ethiopia right over here. Even Morocco is involved in this. Remember we talked about Morocco not long ago. Again, I got to quit. Seemed like I'd just get going good and I got to quit.
