Worship That Makes the Church Strong

1 Corinthians 14 is important for the insight it gives us into congregational worship patterns in the NT. Leon Morris says it is "the most intimate glimpse we have of the early church at worship." For worship to strengthen the church, certain things are needed to maintain a healthy biblical balance between form and freedom, spontaneity and order, and individual contribution and self-control, all to the glory of God.
