Hope Found in a Transformed Life

Self governs our lives before God saves us. We satisfy and protect ourselves. What influences us the most? Is it self or is it the Lord? With salvation it is no longer the joy of self but now it is the joy of the Lord.
It is good to remind ourselves of who we used to be to better understand who we are now. A biblical testimony is: "this is who I was, this is how I met Christ and this is who I am today".
