Thy Will Be Done

Though God has only one will, it's helpful for us to think of his will from two aspects - his secret will and his revealed will. This third petition teaches believers to affirm and submit to God's secret will and to pray for and strive for the revealed will of God to be done in their lives and the lives of others.
