The Lord Revealed as Risen to His Doubting Disciples

Today we come to Mark's account of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. The resurrection is one of the most precious doctrines of our faith: "The third day He rose again from the dead." It testifies to us that God has accepted the sacrifice of His Son for our sins. Because He lives, we shall live also. Mark's particular account reminds us that Jesus' disciples are not always so consistent in their response to this glorious doctrine that we all profess.
