Who Do You Say that I Am?

Jesus is the Answer to every need, but this series examines the questions He asked of His hearers. Interestingly, Jesus is asked 183 questions, of which He only answers three directly. Most notably, Jesus the Answer, asks 107 questions of His hearers. Why did Christ ask so many questions? Because an accusation hardens the will, but a question stirs the conscience. In Matthew 16:15, the Lord Jesus has been teaching His disciples as they followed Him. Now, they face one question on the exam… Jesus asks His disciples in v. 15, "Whom do you say that I am?"
