Paul's Doxology of Praise

As Paul comes to the conclusion of the "doctrinal portion" of this letter presenting God's gospel, His plan of salvation, he breaks into a doxology. I think he has in mind all that he has said in the entire epistle about" the mercies of God" when he writes these words.
