In the Presence of the King!

Who is as a wise man/woman? Those that are not hasty to depart the King's
presence! If you would possess the King's wisdom, you MUST not rush from the
King's presence!
What is hasting from the King's presence? It is closing our Bibles, and then allowing
our minds to immediately disengage from what we just read/studied/considered in the
Word. Or, while we are still praying, we're already thinking about what we have to do
after we finish praying; and so even in our prayers, we often hasten from the King's
presence. Or, if, immediately after the church service, we head straight for the door, as
if we can't wait to leave the presence of Christ and His people!
Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.

I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God.

Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.

Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
