Taste and See the the Lord is Good

The Psalms are songs and prayers - they are both doctrinal and they are thoroughly doctrine. When you read from the psalms, you read about a sovereign God, but they are also experiential. By that, I mean that the psalms describe how we experience the truth in regular Christian living. There is a great difference between theoretical knowledge and experiential knowledge.
