Welcome to Bible Believers Fellowship
and the ministry of bbfohio.com. I'm Pastor Greg and I welcome
you to our ongoing study of angels and the spirit world with this
study of the cherubims and seraphims. We take a very simple straightforward
approach and simply read the King James Bible and discuss
what it says and we find out that the extra biblical apocryphal
books as well as the new versions and claims made by people who
say they've seen angels along with books and textbooks even
written by Christian teachers all must be tested by the scripture
if you want to remain biblically accurate in your understanding
of this and all other subjects. The conclusion of this study
can be heard anytime by visiting bbfohio.com and scrolling down
to our recent studies playlist. You will also find our contact
and donation information there at bbfohio.com. And now we get
right into our current events update and then our study titled
Cherubims and Seraphims. We began in Genesis chapter 3
verses 22 through 24. This is part one of two. Brought to you by Meals on Wheels. Yes. And Soup by Jenny. Headline reviews in the news.
Number one. The end time Jezebel revival
continues. I always have to preface because
the ladies get a little upset, think I'm picking on them. The
men are bums too, I'm just saying. But this Jezebel revival is how
Isaiah described it, that the children are your oppressors
and women rule over you. So it's not Greg, it's prophecy.
And that's one of the reasons the churches are dying. And Beth
Moore is a prime example of that. She's leading silly women laden
with sins by the tens of thousands into error. They are leaving
good churches to go to churches where they'll hear their Moorish
nonsense. And I just thought I'd point
this out, because it's been going around. I've seen it posted,
other people talking about it. She's urging Christian leaders
to apologize for spreading misinformation. That's just really ripe coming
from her. And the question is, what misinformation,
you ask? Well, she's referring to those
warning others about her fake ministry and false teaching. I say fake ministry because God
has never called a woman to the ministry that Beth Moore has. So what does God tell us to do? That's the question. Not what
Beth Moore tells us to do. What does God tell us to do?
In Romans 16, 17 we're told, this is not multiple choice by
the way, Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions
and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned,
and avoid them. That's why if someone goes off
the deep end, you mark them. That's what it says, doesn't
it? You mark, that means you point them out. And you warn,
and you call names. This idea that it's wrong for
a preacher to ever call a name, not when that name belongs to
somebody who's preaching a false gospel or promoting false teaching
and error and changing God's word, people who aren't even
God-ordained to do what they do, but it's like racism. The word misinformation is so
abused that it has lost all of its meaning. Now everything that
the liberals don't like that you say is misinformation. That's
why this whole Joe Rogan thing. And I put up a video warning
people, they're making Joe Rogan out to be a hero. He's not a
hero. He's an American. He has a right to speak. We should
defend his right to speak. They're trying to cancel him
because they called the things he allowed on his podcast, which
has a huge audience, they called it misinformation. Well, in the
months since they accused him of that, a lot of the stuff he
brought out on his podcast has been now confirmed to be the
truth. So that's the problem you get
in when you start deciding what speech is going to be free, what
information is not misinformation and what is. That's what happens
under communism and Nazism. So Beth then goes on to offer
forgiveness to those who tell her to sit down and shut up. She goes on to say she's ready
to forgive them without mentioning names. Moore noted that she was
prepared to forgive Pastor blank. I'm leaving the names out, because
it doesn't matter who. This pastor publicly denounced
her at a pastor's conference, which is an exaggeration. He
didn't really denounce her. But during a panel Q&A session,
it was in 2019, at a conference at some particular church, a
radio host, who will remain nameless, asked this pastor and other panelists
to play a word association game. And so when Asquat came to mind
when hearing the name Beth Moore, he replied, go home. And she's offering to forgive
him for that, but that's actually biblical advice. Beth Moore is
in trouble with God. If you defy God, you're in trouble
with God. Amen? That's just the way it
is. 1 Corinthians 14.34 says, Let
your women keep silence in the churches, for it is not permitted
unto them to speak, but they are commanded to be under obedience,
as also saith the law. Now that doesn't mean a woman
can never speak. But it is saying that a woman
during times where she is supposed to be under the authority and
teaching of the pastor, she should not be interrupting the services.
And that evidently was happening in Corinth, if nowhere else.
In 1 Timothy 2.12, Paul said, but I suffer not a woman to teach,
nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. So
in other words, it's not a woman's place to stand in the pulpit
and teach as the pastor or leader of a church. Now, I don't know
if I put, yeah, I'll come back to that in a second. Well, no,
let's go ahead and, is it? ♪ Hark the herald angels sing ♪
♪ Glory to God in the highest heaven ♪ So pastoral authority
is to be male. And I always say this, just to
kind of give you a picture of why that is. Who's supposed to
bear children? Women. Women. Does it mean I'm
less of a human being because you won't let me? No. You don't
want to do it, trust us. And that's it. It just means
God is called father, not mother. Jesus was a man. And the headship
of God over the church is pictured in the headship of the local
pastor who is leading the local church. It's to picture that. It's the same way in the home.
The husband is to be head of the household. He's to picture
the relationship that Jesus Christ has with His bride. And the husband
is told to love his wife like Jesus loves the church and gave
himself for it. So the husband is supposed to
love his wife enough to protect her and be willing to die for
her if necessary. And so, I just want to say this,
I'm the pastor, but whenever someone else, like when John's
teaching, whoever is up here and has the authority of the
pulpit, as it's called. And I say it's OK for women to
speak. It's OK for you to ask questions
or whatever. But I've put down the rule, I
ask you to raise your hand. And if I am trying to make a
point or we're short on time, I will ignore you, male or female. Amen? Amen. It's been, I've been pastor in
17 years here, going on, I think it'd be 17 years in June, I think
we talked about. And in those 17 years, we've
never had a problem. But we have had other people
complain about how we do things. And I'm just not one of those
preachers who is all about getting as many people in here as possible.
That may sound crazy, but what I want is as many people who
are Bible believers who wanna study the word and wanna go along
with our way of doing things without causing trouble. And
so if somebody doesn't like the way we do things, well, yeah,
go on. We'd love to have you, but we're
just not gonna bow and all, I'm not gonna walk around with pins
and needles trying to, you know, meet everybody's little whims
and everything. I want everybody here, I've told them, I want
everybody here to feel at home. Keep your shoes on. That's one
of the rules. I don't want to smell your feet. Come here. You don't have to be clean as
a whistle, but don't come in here stinking. I think I talk
about Sunday. Come in here modest. You know, there are some basic
rules, but other than that, the Bible says to do things in an
orderly fashion and not to, you know, God is not the author of
confusion, so we keep things in order, but you have some freedom
here, but I kind of, you know, I am the benevolent dictator,
amen? I get the last say, I get to say, you know, and that's
what the Bible's teaching there. So secondly, as feared, conservative
candidates are splitting the vote, giving Rhino DeWine an
easy win in the gubernatorial primary here in Ohio. We're still,
what, is it May? I keep asking that. We're still
three months away. Here is the latest, I think it's
pronounced Trafalgar group. They're supposed to be one of
the most more accurate polling groups, which is why your local
news media calls it right-leaning, because they're accurate. But
they did this poll, and you can see that DeWine is getting 40%.
Well, Jim Renese is getting 22.8, and Joe Blystone's getting 20.2. Combined, they'd beat DeWine.
But they're splitting the vote. So DeWine. And now there is still
16% undecided. But if all 16 of those jump on
Jim Rene's side, he still loses. So the only thing that's going
to happen is either one of those men are going to drop out, or
DeWine's going to be the Republican nominee, and then he'll run against
a Democrat in November. Wow. That's how things, and my one
question is, I don't know Jim Renacci very well. I voted for
him for senator, I think. But is he doing this by design?
Is he helping DeWine? I don't know. I don't, you know,
he doesn't, I've seen him in interviews. I watched him talk
to the Ohio's for medical freedom. And it was really strange because
he was on there, and he was answering the questions. He gave all the
right answers. And Blystone didn't even show up. They tried to get
Blystone to be there as well, and it wasn't going to be a debate.
They were going to ask each one of them questions and let him
answer, but he didn't even show up. Why? You have to ask him. They didn't know either. So,
you know, it's kind of real confusing right now. I'm, I've made it
clear, I'm not telling you who to vote for. I'm just giving
you the information that you need to make an informed decision.
But if Renaci isn't doing this by design, Ohio conservatives
are among the most inept in politics today. Conservatives in Ohio
are constantly beating each other and then letting the rhino win.
That happens all the time. That's why we've had Voinovich
and Taft, you know, and those kind of people, Portman as senator,
you know, and so forth. And also, I want to make this
reminder, we do not endorse any particular political party. It's
been a while, you might have heard me say this, but I think
the Democrat Party is satanic and communist. But the Republican
Party leadership is just as bad. They're a bunch of globalists.
And so I'll admit that I vote for Republicans more often than
I do Democrats, because I can't remember the last time I voted
for a Democrat. But I don't care what party. I care what you stand
for. And if you don't stand for the
right things and you're a Republican, you're not getting my vote. There's
a Constitution Party that I would like to support more often, but
they got a lot of kooks, and then it's just a mess. Libertarian Party, I find a lot
of agreement with them. They're pro-Second Amendment.
They are pro-liberty. They're against all these mandates,
but then they believe in killing babies and marrying sodomites.
So that's why I wouldn't be a member of the Libertarian Party. The
Green Party is just Democrat and Communist light. And they're
even more whacked out in a lot of ways, believe it or not. So
that's the situation. I don't endorse a particular
political party, and we do endorse the most conservative constitutional
candidates without needing to name them. I've had people come
up and ask me, well, I know you don't want to say it in the pulpit,
but who are you going to vote for? And I said, you know, I
shouldn't even, you know, I'm going to vote for the guy who
stands for the Constitution and in 99 out of 100 elections, especially
national, the presidential, senatorial, congressional, Gubernatorial,
you know, it's clear which guy is standing with the Constitution
in almost every case. So there's no need to even endorse
a person by name. You stand with the guy who stands
with the Constitution, amen? And that's, and when there's
issues and things, you do the same thing. All right, cherubims
and seraphims, Genesis chapter three. Genesis 3, verses 22 through
24. Read the even with me. I'll read the odd verse. So start with us right there
in verse 22. And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become
as one of us to know good and evil. And now lest he put forth
his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live
forever. Therefore, the Lord God sent
him forth from the garden of Eden to till the ground from
whence he was taken. So he drove out the man, and
he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubims, and
a flaming sword, which turned every way to keep the way of
the tree of life. Amen? Now real quick, he did
them a favor. They were sinful now, they were
fallen, and if they had taken of the tree of life, it would
have been like what we call zombies. They would have continued to
get old and die, but never die. It would have been a mess. So we'll avoid much speculation
and simply observe what God's word tells us. We looked at the
cherubims in our first study, going back a few weeks now, to
note the differences between cherubims and angels. Just two
basic differences are pointed out. The cherubims have wings,
angels do not. Also, cherubims serve at God's
throne. Angels minister to Christ on
earth and the saints. But we just saw, in addition
to this, now cherubims do other things, including they serve
almost like angelic Pinkertons. Because that's what they were
at the Garden of Eden. If you don't know what a Pinkerton is,
it's the security. So we are introduced to the cherubims
at the fall. That's what we just read. It
happened right after the fall, and they act as security. I tried
to find a picture of an angel wearing a hat that said security,
but I couldn't find one. But I do like this. This is,
just to give you an idea, this is the drawings of Jack Chick,
one of his tracks. And the only thing is, I agree
with something Brother Johnny brought up, I can't remember
which week, but he brought up, I do not believe that the cherub
was holding the flaming sword. The Bible says, look what it
says there in verse three, it says, a flaming sword which turned
every way. So it says, he placed at the
east of the Garden of Eden cherubims, comma, and a flaming sword which
turned every way. So I think there was a flaming
sword doing this or something, which probably would have been
wild enough to see. And then you always see just
one cherubim, or one cherub, but it says cherubims, so there
were a number of them there. It doesn't say how many. So,
you know, just always keep that in mind when you see art. Art
isn't inspired of God. It's inspired of man. And so
sometimes they may be careless or something, or maybe just don't
have time to draw more than one cherub. I don't know. But that's good. I'm not knocking
them. I think Chick's stuff is great. So let's look at the cherubims
and seraphims. All right. So as you're turning
there, I want to make this note before we jump in here. King
James Bible translators use the double plural cherubims and seraphims
for one simple reason. And they were really smart guys,
these translators. Because they knew that few know
that Ms in Hebrew is plural. And so they used a double plural
version for plural, and that was smart. And you'll hear people,
you see the new versions, they make it just cherubim and seraphim,
and you'll always hear the guys that really want to show off
their knowledge of Hebrew, like they're superior to the King
James Translator's understanding of Hebrew. It isn't a problem
with the King James Translator's understanding of Hebrew. If you
ever read the biographies of the King James Translators, they
knew ten times the Hebrew that the modern translators do. But
they also knew humans. So a lot of their translation
work is, the idea of translation is to be as accurate and understandable
as possible. So that's what they did. So make
a mental note of that as we compare scripture with scripture beginning
in Ezekiel 1, 5 through 12. This is believed to be describing
seraphims. Also out of the midst thereof
came the likeness of four living creatures, and this was their
appearance. They had the likeness of a man,
and every one had four faces, and every one had four wings,
and their feet were straight feet, and the sole of their feet
was like the sole of a calf's foot, and they sparkled like
the color of burnished brass, and they had the hands of a man
under their wings on their four sides. Get that? And they four
had their faces and their wings. Their wings were joined one to
another. They turned not when they went.
They went every one straight forward. As for the likeness
of their faces, they four had the face of a man and the face
of a lion on the right side. And they four had the face of
an ox on the left side. They four also had the face of
an eagle. Thus were their faces, and their
wings were stretched upward. Two wings of every one were joined
one to another, and two covered their bodies. And they went every
one straight forward. Whither the spirit was to go,
they went, and they turned not when they went. So I think it's
like, oh, they didn't turn. I can't wait to see it. They're facing all four directions
with each face. I mean, one face this way, one...
It's going to be something we're going to have to see to really
grasp, I think, but that's a pretty amazing... You know, seraphims,
that means burning ones, by the way, and we'll see why, I think,
in just a moment. They had to handle some hot stuff.
Isaiah 6, 1-4, Charlie, let's see before you read that. The
seraphims are found above the throne of God worshiping. So
that's pretty cool to think about. Go ahead and read that. In the
year that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting upon a
throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Above it stood the seraphims. Each one had six wings. With
twain he covered his face, with twain he covered his feet, and
with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another and
said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth
is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved
at the voice of him that crieth, cried, and the house was filled
with smoke. Just another one there, you're
like, wow, I cannot wait to see this. But I wanted to say this,
I don't believe that when it says they covered their eyes
mean like this, it means they were covering their eyes from
being seen. I believe only God saw their eyes. I believe that's
why they're covering their eyes. And then they covered their feet. The feet in the Bible are considered
unclean. And that would be the only biblical
thing that I could think of why they cover their feet. But here
they're covering their eyes so no one can see their eyes, but
they can still see. It's kind of like a horse when
they have the blinders on, you know? And then their feet are
covered and then they've got wings flying. So they got, it's
just amazing. We're gonna see it one day. So
the fire around God's throne would explain their being called
burning ones. Because they were actually, the
fire around God's throne is a consuming fire. Meaning it's just a fire
beyond anything we can imagine. But they're able to be in the
midst of that fire. Yeah? What happened to their
weight? Didn't it, the one said they
had four, According to what we're reading
in the text, it doesn't mean that every cherubim looks exactly
the same, and every seraphim. So, it's just like, you don't
look like me. I mean, you know, and there's
differences between male and female, but we're still human
beings. So I think it's a little narrow-minded that we tend to
be when we see it says some things one way that, OK, it's always
that way. Well, that's not true about our
language. I mean, think about different animal species and
kinds and all the differences, and yet, you know, Just compare
Max, the great big black Labrador, compared to our little Shih Tzu,
they're still dogs. And yet there's a big difference.
So that's my take on it. When you read other books and
things, they'll be dogmatic and say they were this way or this
way, but I just don't think there's any reason to be that dogmatic
when the Bible doesn't

CURRENT EVENTS UPDATE: (1) Jezebel false teacher Beth Moore demonstrates a conscience seared as with a hot iron. (2) Conservative gubernatorial candidates in the Ohio GOP primary are splitting the vote and giving RINO Mike DeWine an easy win.
In our study, we simply read and discuss what the Bible says about Cherubims and Seraphims. From the reason the KJB translators used "ims" (double plural) to the unimaginable but amazing descriptions given of these angelic, heavenly creatures.,
