Restoring Lost Values.2 Chronicles 16:9 For just as a child's obedience pleases his parents, so it is with us when we obey the Lord. When we obey Him, we please Him. But when we disobey His Word, we displease Him. Therefore to please God we must obey Him.A righteous life—a life that pleases God and makes us acceptable to God—can never be lived unless we study God's Word. For it is the Word of God that tells us how to approach God, how to become acceptable to Him, and how to live righteous and godly lives. It is also God's Word that tells us how to live victorious lives, how to be more than conquerors throughout life. How to triumph over all the trials and temptations of this life is found in God's Word and in His Word alone. It is the Word of God that gives us the picture and hope of heaven, of living eternally with God.
