Freedom gives us the power to do as we should do. Before we are given freedom, we are in bondage to sin. Here, the Galatians have trusted Christ, but they have put themselves back under the law...back in bondage.

The flesh is constantly battling with the Spirit, but in Christ, we don't live a "have-to" type life, we live a "want-to" type life.
