Isaiah insists that there is a clear link between enjoying the Sabbath and enjoying God and all the blessings of life both in this world and in the world to come. The Sabbath/Lord's Day is a great blessing to the Church and also to the world. The enemies of the gospel have also recognized the importance of the Sabbath and have worked hard to destroy it, turning Sunday into a second Saturday.
