Preaching the good news can come with its challenges, especially in a idolatrous city such as Corinth. Despite trials and hardship, the Lord in His providence made a way for Paul to share the good news to the people in Corinth knowing that those who are His would respond in faith. In the same way, we must stand confident in our Lord to preach the good news and to endure affliction believing that Christ has His people and He will build His church!
