Worship - A Pure Offering Of Love

In today’s passage, we see what happens when God’s people doubt His love and how that impacts the worship of God. Today, God wants to smell the sweet aroma of the gospel and pure offering of the redeemed around the world. If we pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, then our heart would beat with passionate desire for God’s glory in every place. Let’s catch a vision today. God wants glory in every place—your home, workplace, school, and the local church. God’s honor is at stake and it will be a shame if we live for temporal things over the eternal. In today’s passage, God turns Israel’s question around, “How is Israel loving God?” Let’s turn to Malachi 1:6-14. The title of this message will be “A Pure Offering of Love.” Whatever we offer to God is a reflection of our hearts and paints a picture of the cross to the world. Would the world see the sacrificial love of Christ from your life or would it more resemble the lust which the world calls love?
