Introduction to 1 Thessalonians

Paul founded the church in Thessalonica on his second missionary journey after he was led to bring the gospel to Europe in a vision. He preached first in the synagogue but following persecution, he brought the message to the Gentiles. He did not stay long in Thessalonica but when he departed he left a strong and vibrant church.
