class number 7, Ephesians the second chapter 2 and verse 1 and 1. Yes the second chapter 2 and 1. We're going to read this here from the Amplified Bible. Get it over here, get the right place. From death unto life, from death unto life. That's the title of the message, from death unto life. From death unto life. And you, he had made alive when you were spiritually dead and separated from him because of your transgressions and sins. In which you once walked, You were following the ways of this world, influenced by this present age in accordance with the prince of the power of the air, Satan, and the spirit, but now is at work in the sons of disobedience, the unbelieving ones, who fight against the purposes of God. Among those unbelievers, we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, our behavior governed by the sinful self, indulging in the desires of human nature, Without the Holy Spirit and the impulses of the sinful mind, we were by nature children under the sentence of God's wrath, just like the rest of mankind. But God, being so very rich in the mercy because of His great and wonderful love in which He has loved us, even when we were spiritually dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us spiritually alive together with Christ and for by his grace, his undeserved favor and mercy, you have been saved from God's judgment. Romans 6, the chapter, Romans chapter 6 also now. Let's go to Romans 6. Paul is still the same writer. If I can get to these thin pages here. What shall we say to all of this, he says, should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that God's gift of grace may increase our overflow? Certainly not. How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in any longer? Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized because of Christ were baptized unto his death or because of his death? We have therefore been buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and the power of the Father, we too might be walked habitually in the newness of life, abandoning our old ways, For if we had become one with Him, permanently united in the likeness of His death, we will also certainly be one with Him and share fully in the likeness of His resurrection. We know that our old self, our human nature, without the Holy Spirit was nailed to the cross with Him in order that our body of sin might be done away with so that we no longer be saved to sin. or the person who has died with Christ has been freed from the power of sin. From death unto life. From death unto life. I couldn't say it any better than that, could I? Let's go back now. We're looking at God's pain-filled New Testament. We're looking at God's pain-filled New Testament, the New Covenant that brought us from death to life, the pain-filled testator of this New Covenant. The triuneness of God and angels and man are all united in the death of Christ, again, by His merits, not ours. Kai, Hemos, Ontas, necros toys power-up at all mason hi pays him on the house him on and ye and you all conjunction base 208 you all accused the pearl second-person pronoun and we're talking about Gentiles now being now this is going to the Gentile churches remember this is a circular letter to them being and that's accused the plural masculine present participle active being dead ones dead ones not gross dead ones in the trespasses the power-up the tall my sin there are several words for sin in the new testament and a lot of words for sin in the old testament this word here means stumblings and by but side fallings we have roman 623 we have a We have the word hamartia, which means to go out of the pathway. And we have the word astokia, which means to miss the mark. In spite of what Mr. Thayer said in his lexicon, hamartia does not mean to miss the mark. It means to go astray, kind of like this word here. It comes from amero, away from, or out of the pathway. The dead ones and beside fallings, trespasses, besides stumbling, sins, and the sins, blockety plural feminine, the missing, the missing the pathway here, parapateo, and now we have the word paramartia, that comes from amaro, and amaro means to go out of the the pathway, like a river that overflows and goes out and causes destruction. Our sins have called us destruction, the sins of you all. Genitive plural, second person pronoun. Now the word, the second verse now. The God of this world's on a short lease, but he's very active. I used to know a man that had a, he had Doberman pinchers and he had them on a leash. There was a real strong cord run about a hundred yards from one way to the other, and it was up off the ground just a little bit, just barely like a half inch off the ground. And the dogs had a heavy chain on them, and the chain was only about five foot or six foot wide or long. And they could go on either side about 12 feet, that's all they could go, that's all they could do. But they would run back and forth, but they were on a short lease, a short lease. And he used those in his yard to keep people from stealing his animals that he had. And I knew a guy who went out there and threw sleeping pills with a hamburger to those dogs and waited till they went to sleep and went in there and sold his animals. That was a bad thing. Bad thing. But the dogs were on a short lease. Now Satan is on a short lease. There's only a short period of time now in this church age, and in the tribulation period he's going to be turned loose, really. He's going to be really tearing up this world, and then he's going to be put in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years over here. Revelation 27 through 10. Then he'd be turned back loose for a short period of time. Revelation 20, 7 through 9. Now, Satan is the god of this age and this world. He's a powerful being. We use the word God, but that means the supernatural being. But it's still with a little G, not a big G, like God, the God of the heavens. In hēs pōte, pērē patēsāte, kāra ton aiona tu cosmu tuto, kāra ton arkōnta tēs exūcias tu erōs pneumātikos tu nīn, and they're going to ace and toys we always pace up a few second grant in four and four talks about this also first john talks about it in which is in which is that's a lot to be plural relative pronoun there in which is then we have a little preposition there in the front page a hundred thirty-seven we have a little adverb of time in which is then, ye had walked around," peripate sate, ye had walked around, second person, first person, indicative acti from peripatio, out of the beaten path. You just went any which way you wanted to go. The world, a person that is not related to God will go any way, or she will go any way that they want to go. But when you know the Lord, there's a lease on you. You cannot go over there. You cannot go over there. You walk with Christ in his pathway. I'm Native American, and I wrote a couple of books on the introduction to thoughts and customs of the American Indian. And what I tried to do in those books was to tell my people that the same God of the Bible is the God that we had here that we tried to worship through a glass darkly. And all the things that we tried to do, we did it groping. But there's a God that we can follow that has a clear pathway. Now, the Indian people, when they're talking about walking in righteousness and doing the right thing with their families and everything, they talk about walking the red road. And when you get off the red road, that's exactly what you're doing here. You walked around like the rest of the world. According to a little preposition there, page 213, the age, the times. You know, mankind ever since the garden and the fall of mankind has been bad. But during periods of time in history, you can look at churches. Look at religions. Some of the two worst religions that ever were ever created by Satan was the Muslim religion and Catholicism. And Catholicism followed, or Muslim followed basically what Catholicism was. Muhammad had a very hard time convincing people to follow him rationally. But, when he forced them to follow him, and forced them to pray five times a day and all the things, and they did, religion, according to Muhammad, is not voluntary. That's what he said when he was in Mecca, not Medina. After that, it changed. God changed his mind. He abrogated. Changed his mind. And then it became a religion of force and violence, a religion of Hamas. The word Hamas, that you see so much about in Gaza today, means violence. Jacob, when his two sons, Levi and Simeon, went out and killed all the new converts in Shechem, he called them sons of violence, sons of Hamas. Religious terror and torture. We talk about the, well, it's not up there. Look up here at the Inquisition in 1231. In fact, I think I'll just put this chart up here for right now, for a moment, as we're referring to it. We have God calling out these churches and by the seashores of Galilee on the day of Pentecost, the churches were empowered. It wasn't the first day of the church, but they were empowered for the Spirit of God to lead them, to comfort them. We come down here and we see all the different types of isms and all the different evolution of theology. Now, the churches of the Lord Jesus Christ, their theology never changed. They were called by different names. They were called Anabaptists early. And if you see this blood, it's a trail of blood because they died for their faith. And the greatest persecutors of the true faith was false religion. Catholicism killed 50 to 100 million true Christians. Islam has killed over 270 million. Christian and still going every day. Catholicism had its wings clipped during the Reformation, but Islam is going strong still today. Look at what happened over there in the Middle East from October 7th a year ago. Look what happened. Look what they did. They beheaded babies. This is violence. This is Hamas. This is terror. They're terror attacks. Terrorists, terrorists, terrorists. Religion can be the most horrible thing. Most wars in the world have been started by religion. Never the truth, but by religion. Muhammad declared war on the world not too long before he died to bring everybody into submission. Islam does not mean peace. It means submission. You submit. And their whole idea is to bring the whole world under submission to them and to their religion. No tolerance at all. Catholicism was the same way. Take you out there to the river and put a knife to your throat. Would you like to be baptized and become a member of the Catholic Church of the Church Catholic or do you want me to cut your throat? Well, most of them will say, well, I'm a believer. From now on, I'm a believer. Just let me live. You see down here, you see the indulgences, you see the Pope established here, we see church and state here, we see baptismal regeneration, we see purgatory embedded here, we have saint nemesis worship, we have incantation, we have transubstantiation, where it changes the wine and the wafer into the body of Jesus Christ and his blood. We see celibacy established, where it totally perverts the human race. with celibacy. God created man and woman to procreate and to want to be with each other. Then we see a regular confession. We see the Inquisition. We see the Bible totally forbidden in 1229. They didn't want the Bible over here, but they totally forbid it in 1229 AD. That's Catholicism. Of course, all the way back up here, since Mohammed comes on the scene right here, since he comes on the scene right here, they're burning Bibles. They burned the whole library in Egypt, in Alexandria. They said nothing, they didn't want anything except the Quran. And by the way, they didn't even have the Quran yet. It was copied down in different ways. It was never even codified until 1930, I think it was, or 20s. Well, we see the world. Catholicism, by, we got up here between 8 and 980, they brought in the Dark Ages. They brought in the Dark Ages. And of course, Islam said they brought in enlightenment. What they did when they conquered places and took them, and they, a lot of those were Jewish people that were taken over, and they were some pretty smart mathematicians and scientists and things, and they took credit for that. in which is, when we walked around according to the age of the times of the world, the age that we live in, according to the rulers, the chief of the authority of the air, that's Satan, and all of his little emissaries down here. You can't tell me that Islam and its leaders were not controlled and influenced by Satan. And the same thing with the Pope. They come down through here. All the people they were killing. This blood here represents lives. Blood. Lives. The rulers, the chief, the power of the air. We have to live with this. I mean, what if you lived in the Middle East today and you were a Christian? You couldn't share your faith at all if you did. If you made one Muslim convert, they killed you and the convert. They were to be beheaded. And you look in the Bible, in the book of Revelation, and how is the Antichrist, how is he going to be beheading those that won't, how is he going to be executing those that won't believe by beheading? That's a horrible, bloody thing. The authority of the air, the authority, exousia, means unlimited power of Satan. periods of time in history you see that civilization rise and fall and rise and fall and almost every time it fell it's because of religion, false religion. The now energizing, the authority of the spirit of the air, that's Satan, the ones now energizing in the air's wheels, the air's of the disobedience. The word disobedience, apathio, that means not persuaded. It means to bind away from, to bind away from God. Many times Paul said he was bound away from God and God aborted him and brought him back and that he became a believer. He went from death unto life. He was very, very actively religious, but he was killing people. Right here at the very first, guess who was killing people? The Jewish religion, Judaism, was supposed to be giving life to the world and they were killing people. Killing people. The unpersuaded ones. To bind away. They are bound away because they are not persuaded. They have bound themselves away from the grace of God. Let's go over here to verse number three now. In hois cae haemais, pantes anes trafen femen, poteentes epithemias, teis sarcas haemon, poiontes ta thelemata. Teis sarcas caeton deonion, cae amatha tecna Chise, Orgeis, Hase, Kai, Hoi, Lofoi. There's a lot of people out there that are in false religion today. There's a lot of people out there that believe in religion by violence. The church and the state, the reason why the church and state became one is because if you didn't join the church and you were a citizen, you were persecuted or killed. They took their little children because they taught baptismal regeneration. Baptism doesn't regenerate you. Baptism is not a vehicle of grace. When we're baptized, we honor our God and Father and our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ. It is not a vehicle of grace. The Lord's Supper is not a vehicle of grace. They are things that we do for the Lord, not what He does for us. It's what He has done for us. in whom's, plural, little rudderful pronoun, lockety plural, end preposition, page 137, just like our end in English, chi, here is a cumulative particle, page 208, in whom also we, first person plural pronoun, all, all conducted ourselves, turned up and down, and walked as a lion in a cage. First, first and true. Second, error is indicative, active. We were called to do this passage. We were called to walk up and down like a caged lion, just looking. And look at false religion. The Catholic Church instituted indulgences, right here. You know what the indulgences were? They had an army. You went out there, in an army, they rape and pillage. They rape and pillage. They gratify their theft by stealing things that they think is valuable, and by raping women. Is there anything spiritual about raping women? But Islam and Catholicism will tell you that. Chivington, John Chivington, a Methodist preacher, when he organized his what they call 90-day miracle men, he went out and got them out of the prisons and the bars and they took them out there and they were going to go out there and they were going to overcome and do away with the Cheyenne and the Lakotas, Indians. And they raped and they pillaged. They took the women's breasts and skinned them. They fried them and ate them. They took their privates and put it on their saddles. Buckingrolls. They put around on the edge of their saddles, like now that we got swells, they were called squaw tits at that time. The breasts of squaws. And they stuffed them and put them there. And they did it over there, in Catholicism. And they did it in this one. Go out and behead a baby. How many babies were beheaded in October the 7th? How many babies were beheaded? How many people have died and tortured? Hamas. Violence. Torture. Terror. By religion. Religion is one of the worst. False religion is one of the worst terrors to the human race. We all conducted ourselves then, a little pote then, a little adverb of time, in the in the passions, in the lust. In World War II, in Italy, they had a Muslim force, a regiment that went in there. And they, the Muslims, you know, when you go in and you conquer, you rape and you pillage. So they went into Italy and they raped and they pillaged. They raped women. They raped little girls. They raped and raped and raped. They even raped boys. And a lot of women had to have abortions. And some of them had all these illegitimate children from there. And that's one of the worst times in World War II, what the Islam went in and did in Italy and France. Horrible time. Horrible time. YouTube, by the way. It happened. Lust, hate, murder, religion. It was religion that did it. It was religion that guided these people to do that. The lust of the flesh, sarcos, of us, constantly doing a poentes, it comes from poio, and it's present participle active nomine plural masculine. constantly doing the wills, the thelamata, the spiritual activating force, excuse the plural, Satan's astounding force and powers and drawing. You get into false religion, you get out there in what we call the gospel of promise. You get out there where people promise you that when you believe you're going to get this, you're going to get that, you're going to get that. Give us a dollar and you'll get five hundred dollars, you'll get a thousand dollars, you give us a hundred, you'll get a million, etc. etc. Prosperity, gospel. That's dealing with the flesh. What they're promising you is nothing that any lost man would want. That's the same thing he'd want. That's not the gospel. The gospel is sacrifice, death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior. And we follow him. Not for what we can get in this world, but because what he's done for us. constantly doing the will, the spiritual acting, inflating force of the flesh, your desires, rape and pillage, money and power, lust, of the thoughts, the dhyanusin, that means the deep thoughts, really the thoughts of your soul. A lost man follows the thoughts of his soul. A saved person follows the thoughts of his soul, which are the opposite. The thoughts and the minds, and they kept on being the offspring, the live births, the live births of nature. When we're born into this world, we're born away from God. We're born away from God. The Spirit of God calls us back. I think that all children that die before the age of accountability and those that can't ever make no right from wrong are all under the blood of Jesus Christ. No, they don't know. But even a baby lies, doesn't it? It'll cry and tell you it's hungry and things. They just want your attention. They want you to come and pay attention to them. By nature, they kept on being by children, offspring by nature. children of wrath or gaze, that swelling indignation, just as or even as also the ones remaining there, the ones that still stay in it. Oh, I pray for those people out there in false religion that they'll come to the peace of God, the peace of God. You don't have to sacrifice yourself for God. God made the sacrifice for you. You don't have to cut your flesh. You don't have to go out and blow yourself up. To kill people? To please your vicious God? God himself let the vicious world crucify his son. A horrible death. Nakedness on that cross. Humiliation. His own disciples he loved forsook him and were, by fear, stood away. That's the God of the Bible. That's Jesus. It's not the God of Muhammad. It's not the God of Joseph Smith or Brigham Young. It's not the God of Catholicism. It is a God that gave His life for you and loved you enough to lay His life down and come and live 33 and a half years basically on this earth and die for you. Let evil men surround Him and beat Him, lacerate Him, and die for you. That's the God we serve. Our Father, we send this message out for your honor and glory. Please use it. Please, I pray for people out there in false religion that they will see the light, that you'll open the eyes of their souls to your word and to you. Father, please use your word wherever it goes. Please forgive me where I fail you. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
