The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

The third chapter opens with Paul speaking of personal matters. He describes himself as a prisoner, preacher and a pastor in verses 1-6. In the following three verses he describes himself as a servant and self-effacing steward. His phrase, ""unsearchable riches of Christ"" describes a footprint that cannot be sketched out, completely understood. The ""riches of Christ"" defers to His Person and Work.
