Give Him No Rest

In Isaiah 62:1–11, we hear the Messianic Servant
proclaim 3 commitments concerning the redemption of
his people through Yahweh's faithfulness.
I. The Messianic Servant commits himself to
constant work until his people's salvation and
righteousness shine before the nations with a new
name and Yahweh's delight (vs. 1–5).
II. The Messianic Servant commits his watchmen to
give Yahweh no rest until his people are
established as the praise of the earth and the
nations become his worshipers (vs. 6–9).
III. The Messianic Servant commits his people to go
into the world and prepare the way for the nations
to come by preaching his gospel (vs. 10–12.
