Isaiah. 5v6 – The Exalted Sovereign Lord, unfolds as I. ISAIAH' CONFESSION (v5)
I. His Personal Conviction and Grief (v5a c.f. 1 – 2), was motivated by (a) What saw – v1 – 2;
and b) what he heard (v3 – 4); II. His Personal Sense Of Unworthiness – (v5b), was triggered
principally by the permeating effect of the shone glory of Adonai, upon Isaiah, revealing his
depravity and extreme imperfections of his soul. Thus, the same is true of the redeemed of the
Lord. The response should always be – 'Confess and Repent', for a pardoning and cleansing
grace of God Most High.
