John 68 - Preparation for New Covenant

While dying on the stauros the lambs for passover were being slaughtered in the Temple along with the daily evening sacrifice. While the Jews were preparing for Sabbath, Matzah and Passover simultaneously; Christ was preparing the world for the New Covenant and His body would be prepared for His resurrection by two men who dared to be unclean in order to insure Christ would come down from the "tree" and remain clean for the Father even to placing His body in a "clean" tomb.
