Redeeming 2024

Where has time gone? Indeed life is but a vapor! Before we know it, it will be 2025. Another year will be behind us. We need wisdom from God to make the most of 2024. Wise Christians live circumspectly, that is they live according to God's plans. They also redeem their time because the days are evil. God has given to each of us an allotted portion of time to invest in that which will pay eternal dividends. We need to be careful not to waste our time but to use it wisely. For wise Christians understand God's general will for their lives. It is God's will for us to be saved. It is God's will for us to be holy as He is holy. It is God's will for us to be in submission to those in authority, and to do right even if it means suffering. It is God's will for us to be thankful in all situations. And as we are doing the revealed general will of God, then we will be in position for tthe Lord to direct us in His specific plans for us. So, let's redeem 2024, to make the most of the time God has given to us!
