I don't know how anyone can have a Bible and not believe in the deity of Christ. Simple as that. Now, verse number seven. He is our Goel. Goel. That's a Hebrew word. He is our kinsman redeemer. We're born into sin. We're born with our Father's blood in us, which has the sin nature in it. And then when we're born again, we're born from above. We still live in this body. And the body is sensible. The body is fragile. The body is able to be touched by sin and by disease and all of that. We get colds, we get flu, we get cancer. I've had cancer for 23 years, I think it is now. We all are destructible. But the soul and spirit in us are not destructible. And that soul and spirit is the one that guides our bodies. Our bodies want to go the wrong way so many times. But the spirit and soul in us that come from God, that spirit, makes us not feel comfortable doing whatever we're doing wrong. Because we're no longer in the flesh reality. Our spirits are living in what we call foreign territory now. Your born again spirit in you is in a foreign land. That glory he took back to heaven with him. But he took back something to heaven that he didn't bring from heaven. Jesus took back something from heaven that he didn't bring from heaven. Jehovah, when he became flesh, he became flesh in time and space. He became flesh of that little girl, 15 year old or whatever she was, little virgin there, in Bethlehem. Not Bethlehem, but Nazareth. Then she, in a fragile way and heavily pregnant, traveled down all the way to Bethlehem, where she gave birth to this child without being in a real good hospital or anything else. Just in a stable, just in a cave in the side of a mountain is what it was. Without any assistance. And she brought forth this God-man, that was fragile, that needed milk, that needed care, just like every other little child that was ever born. He depended on this woman and this man to take care of him until he was old enough to take care of himself. Let's go one more verse here and then we'll finish this class. They will be judged for rejection. And then how bad a sin they've committed, but it will be, they will be judged mainly for rejecting Christ. Everything in heaven and upon the earth and down under the earth in the infernal regions shall show respect to the Creator. Romans 14, 11, Ephesians 1 and 10, Revelation 19, 11, and on, on from there. Jesus Christ is the Creator God. Jesus Christ is our Savior. The One that created the heavens and the earth. The One that holds all things together. That One came and became flesh allowed himself to be humiliated and beaten and cursed and slapped and humiliated, allowed them to put him on the cross, and then allowed them to crucify him, humiliate him, all of these people humiliating him, and these were religious people that were supposed to be doing his will. They were his servants, and yet he became their servants. unto death. Let's read this now from the Amplified Bible, these few verses that we've studied so far. Who, although he existed in the form and unchanging essence of God, as one with him, possessing the fullness of the divine attributes and the entire nature of deity, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted to as if he did not already possess it or was afraid of losing it, but emptied himself without renouncing or diminishing his deity. Jesus always said, you're going to see me and standing at the right hand, on the right side, the highest authority in heaven. You will see me standing in the highest authority in heaven. And they spit in his face. They slapped him. They beat him. But emptied himself without renouncing the diminishing his deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and his rightful dignity by assuming the form of a bondservant and being made in the likeness of man, he became completely human, but was without sin, fully being God and fully man. After he was found, in terms of his outward appearance as a man, for a divinely appointed time, he humbled himself still further by becoming obedient to the Father to the point of death, even the death of the cross, For this reason also, because he obeyed and so completely humbled himself, God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, even the Father, every name. Jesus Christ, Jehovah, became flesh and died for us that we could go and be with fellowship with the Father and call upon the Father. Jesus did it. so that in the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in submission of those who are in heaven and upon the earth and down under the earth. Isaiah 45 and verse 23. That's quite a revelation, isn't it? Islam doesn't believe that. The Witnesses really don't believe that. The Muslims don't believe that at all. They'll tell you that Jesus was a prophet. Jesus was not a prophet. He was God. His prophecy, of course he prophesied, but he was God. That was God prophesying. We see all of this. We see God in the form of man for us unworthy subjects. We're not worthy. We're not worthy to go to heaven to ever spend one hour with Jesus. We're not worthy of that. Only by what Jesus did do we have access to glory in heaven. Our Father, we come to you and we thank you for this message. We thank you for the revelation. We thank you for our Savior that bought us because he first became obedient. And Father, thank you for all the blessings you give us. In Jesus' name we pray, and please forgive me where I fail you. Amen.
