Jesus' friends are …

I. Sinners to whom Jesus Entrusts Himself (Lk. 22:15-16; Jn. 15:15-16; 13:1)

II. Those who Love Jesus' other Friends (Jn. 15:12, 17)

III. Those who listen to Jesus & Examine their hearts (Lk. 22:23; Jn. 15:14)

IV. Those for whom Jesus Died (Luke 22:17-20; John 15:16)

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."—John 15:12-13

"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."—Proverbs 18:24
