All right, well, if you're glad you saved, say amen. And it is good to be with you tonight. Let's take our Bibles and turn to the book of 1 Kings tonight, chapter number 10, 1 Kings chapter number 10. And when you find your place, if you're physically able now, would you stand with me in honor of the Word of God? We're going to read a few verses here. And I do thank the Lord for the opportunity to be here. And I've got many memories on the church bus and in the Sunday school rooms and things. And many times, As you said, the Wallace is here, and I don't know if you want me to tell them in church, amen? But I praise the Lord for opportunity to be with you tonight, and thank y'all for coming out, my family coming out to hear me tonight. And I just praise the Lord for y'all letting me be here, amen? And for God letting us see another year. Amen, the Lord's so good to us. All right, 1 Kings chapter number 10 tonight. The Bible said in verse number one, And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train with camels that bear spices and very much gold and precious stones. And when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart. And Solomon told her all her questions. There was not anything hid from the king which he told her not. And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom and the house that he had built, and the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his assent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her. And she said to the king, it was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy accent of thy wisdom. Howbeit, I believed not the words until I came, and mine eyes had seen it, and behold, the half was not told me. Thy wisdom and prosperity exceeded the fame which I heard. Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom. Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel, because the Lord loved Israel forever. Therefore made he thee king to do judgment and justice. And she gave the king and 120 talents of gold and of spices, very great store and precious stones. There came no more such abundance of spices as these, which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. And the Navy also of Hiram that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of almond trees and precious stones. And the king made of the almond trees pillars for the house of the Lord and for the king's house, harps also and psalteries for singers, nor were seen unto this day. And King Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked. beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. Thank you for standing. You can be seated. Would you pray with me? Father, we do humble ourself before you one more time. And God, I do thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to come to your house this evening. And thank you, Lord, for the open door. Thank you for the pastor. And Lord, these members here, God, faithful after many, many years, Lord, it's good to see familiar faces. And Lord, it's great to see new faces. I pray that you would bless this church this year. And God, I pray that they would raise all the funds that they need, Lord. And I pray that you would just bless them, Lord, that far above, Lord, that we could all ever ask or think. And Lord, would you help me tonight for a few moments of time, as we prayed before service, Lord, in the office, if there be one here not saved, I pray you'd save them. And God, those here that are saved, that you would draw us closer to you. Lord, we'll be careful, Lord, to give you all the glory, for we ask it in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. In this account of Solomon's reign, we are told of the Queen of Sheba who hears of Solomon's fame in verse number one. The Bible said in verse one, and when the Queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, amen, and so more than his fame, she comes because of his name. I wanna thank God for the name of Jesus. Philippians 2 said that, does it not? Philippians 2, 5, let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, amen, but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name. Thank God not only came because of his fame, but she came because of his name. I read this that Sheba was located in Arabia in modern day Yemen. Amen. Jesus refers to this queen. In Matthew 12, 42, He calls her the Queen of the South. I thought about her pursuit of truth. Think about that. Her pursuit of truth led her to the King of Peace, Solomon himself. Is that not what Solomon means? Peace or peaceful. And my friend David was a man of war, but Solomon's reign was nothing but peace. You see, David fought battles that Solomon never had to fight. David won battles, then the next generation did not have to fight. Is that not a lesson for us? Amen for us that are older to win the battles for God and right So that those after us do not have to fight young people here tonight There's no doubt those before you that have won battles that you've never had to fight Amen, and I thank God for that that you've not had to make the decision to go to church. Amen, you have to go to church. That's a battle you don't have to fight yet. One day you will, when you get old enough to make your own decisions. But I'm so glad this king of peace, amen, once she saw his glory and his kingdom. Look at verse five here. Look at verse five. The Bible said that she went up, or excuse me, he went up into the house of the Lord after she saw this, and there was no more spirit in her. No more spirit in her. I looked that up, that just simply means that it took her breath away. It took her breath away. When she finally came, Brother Larry, to the temple, and she finally came to the throne of Solomon, you must understand that she was a queen herself. She knew what it was to rule. She knew what it was to reign. She knew what it was to be in charge. But when she comes to this king, she must say that this is the king of all kings. There's no other king like him. Have you figured out yet? I'm not talking about Solomon. I'm talking about Jesus tonight He is the king of kings and the Lord of lords tonight Hallelujah, he's still on the throne tonight in 2025. He's still in charge He's not lost his power and when she looked at that after all that she'd seen Finally she comes to Solomon and the Bible said there was no more spirit It took her breath away. She was in shock. She was in awe. She was inspired. She was overwhelmed. No doubt she was amazed. And I just want to preach on that tonight. I stand amazed. I stand amazed. Amen. What amazes you? What amazes you tonight? What gets you excited? What gets, amen, your heart beating a little faster? What makes you, amen, anxious and excited to do something? Amen. Young people, I remember when I was growing up, it was not the things of God that amazed me. Amen. I remember Christmas time. It was crazy what all that we would get and what all that we would receive. And I would be looking for the next game and the next movie. And don't look at me like that. I know some of y'all do the same thing. Amen. Amen. But I'm telling you, I was excited. That's what captivated me. That's what captivated my attention. My pastor says this, if Jesus has not captured your attention, He has never conquered your affection. If Jesus hasn't captured your attention, He has never conquered your affections. My friend, to be amazed means to be astonished, means to be confounded with fear, to be surprised or to wonder. I believe the word amazed is used too flippantly in these days and used too loosely in these days. Well, that was amazing. That was an amazing play or that was an amazing catch or amazing shot. But my friend, what truly was amazing is what she saw that day. Amen. The majority of church people are amazed by things that just one day will not truly matter. Will not truly matter. My friend, I thought about this song from Charles H. Gabriel. I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned, unclean. He said, Oh, how marvelous! Oh, how wonderful! And my song shall ever be. Oh, how marvelous! Oh, how wonderful is my Savior's love for me. And I would say He had it exactly right. I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus. And I don't understand why He would love me. Hey, I can maybe think sometimes why He might love somebody else, but I'm amazed tonight that He would put up with me. and that he would love me, that he would die for me. The Bible said in Romans 5, 6, for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly, for scarcely for a righteous man will one die. Yet peradventure for a good man, some would even dare to die. But God committeth his love toward us, and that while we were yet sinners, Christ, died for us. You think about that. He didn't wait until we were good. He didn't wait until we got better. I used to spend most of my life trying to do better and do better and rededicate and make myself better and better and reform myself. But I did not need to be reformed. I needed to be reborn. Amen. I thank God for that. But the Bible said, while we were yet sinners, he died for us. And I thought about one day, that word commended his love toward us. That word toward stood out at me. It stood out at me, Brother Larry. And I was thinking about that. And I thought about when Ahab died, the Bible said that a bow was drew at a venture. What does that mean, preacher? It means when the armies fought with arrows, there would be multitudes of coming. Multitudes of soldiers, multitude of men coming toward them and those that were set up with arrows. It was too many to pick out a target. It was too many to pick out one person. So all they would have to do was raise their bows and let it go and where it fell, it fell. And many men died like that when you drew the bow at a venture. But I thought about God's love was not like that. God's love was not drawn at random. God's love was not just drawn at a venture, and his love was not just pointed in the sky, and where it falls, it falls. But God's love was not drawn that way. God's love was drawn toward us, and it wasn't just a random shot. I'm glad I'm not a Calvinist tonight, amen? Thank God he died for whosoever will. Whosoever will. And His love was toward us. It was toward you. It was toward us. I stand amazed. And that's what the queen did that night as she rolled up to Solomon's house. She was amazed. When was the last time you were truly amazed? I'm not talking about the things of the world. I'm not talking about a new car. I'm not talking about a new job. Those things are fine in and of themselves. But I'm talking about amazed at the King of kings and the Lord of lords. I'm talking about amazed and where you get just all lost in the presence of God and in the love of God and you get overwhelmed, you get astonished, you get inspired. Amen. At the love of God and at the vision of God and at the power of God and at the presence of God, there's nobody like Jesus. There's nobody like Jesus. Praise God for that. This queen in verse one, she heard with her ears. She heard it with her ears. The Bible said she heard of him. I don't know who told her about Solomon, but all I know is that she heard. I thank God one night. On July the 29th, 2008, at Light on the Mountain Youth Camp on a Tuesday night, on the second row back, I'm glad I heard about Jesus. I'm glad growing up I heard about Him. Amen, with my ear. But I'm glad that night I heard about Him and heard Him with my heart. Isn't that right? She heard it with her ears. Romans 10, 17, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Jesus said many times, he that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And my friends, I was preaching one time toward the beach, and I was preaching a salvation message, and I remember looking back about this area over here where I was sitting a moment ago. I remember looking down close to the invitation, a young man He had put his head down and he had put his fingers in his ears. And that broke my heart. That broke my heart preaching. He closed his ears. But you know what? You may never put your fingers in your ears physically, but there will be many week after week after week after week, year after year after year after year that put their spiritual fingers in their ears. She heard of Solomon and she said, what? I've got to find out about him. He's greater than me. There ain't no way. Look at my soldiers. Look at my kingdom. There's no, I've got to find out more about him. So she came with her feet. In verse one, she came to prove him. She came, amen. I read that she traveled up to 1,500 miles, 1,500 miles before Carr on camel. It took her many, many months to get to Solomon. But I tell you, my friends, she found out it was worth every mile. And I want to say, thank God it is worth every mile. It is worth every trial. Thank God it is worth every valley. It is worth every tear. It is worth every heartache. Why? Because I stand amazed. She communed with her heart. In verse 2, she came with a great train and the Bible said she communed with Him of all that was in her heart. Did you know that He knows what's in our heart anyway? He knows every secret room of our heart. He knows if you're not saved tonight. He knows if you've been hiding that secret. for many, many years. Maybe you've never told anybody that you're not saved. Maybe God's been dealing with you about being saved, and you've been hiding that in your heart. My friend, you can tell Him all about it. Amen. He knows what you're going through. Amen. He knows when nobody else cares, when it feels like nobody's around. Did you know that you can be in a crowd, amen, of a thousand and feel all alone? Amen. My friend, I'm telling you, she came. No doubt she mused upon him. She thought upon him. Month after month, headed towards Solomon. Then the Bible said she told him all her heart. You can tell him everything. He won't rebuke you. Tell him all. He knows it all anyway. Isn't that amazing in prayer how we'll just be talking, amen, and we'll just be acting like that we can't share that with God. We can't admit that to the Lord. My friend, I love the Psalms because David is honest with God and honest with himself. I'm so glad one night as a 15-year-old boy, I got honest with myself and honest with God. that I had never been saved, amen. She came with her feet. She communed with her heart. She learned with her mind. In verse three, Solomon told her all her questions. I'm glad there's not a question you have that he cannot answer, amen. You say, what do I do about that? Praise God, he'll answer it in here, amen. You get in the Bible and he'll answer all your questions. I'm glad for that tonight, amen. And she learned with her mind. eyes when she'd seen all Solomon's wisdom in the house he built, verse four. And she looked in verse five. Oh, she's seen it for herself. Is that not what she said in verse number seven? I believe not the words until I came, and mine eyes have seen it. What does that mean, preacher? That means you've got to see it for yourself. It does not matter how many times you're told. Praise God the children will grow up and learn about the things of God just like I did, but it did not It really helped me until I saw it for myself. And I'm so glad the Holy Spirit can reveal that. Amen. He can show you yourself. I remember getting saved and going home and reading the Bible and thinking, I've never seen this before. I didn't know it was like this. I didn't know it was this good. I'm so glad she's seen it for herself. Have you seen His amazing wonder? Have you seen Him? She exclaimed with her mouth in verse eight through nine. She couldn't help but brag on him. Verse nine, she said, blessed be the Lord. No doubt she had her own gods that she'd worshiped for many years. But this night, she realized that there's only one God and it's the God of all heaven, amen. It is not the little God, but it is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. She said, bless his name. She gave with her hands in verse 10. She gave to him because he'd given so much to her. Number one, I want to say tonight, I stand amazed at his wisdom. I stand amazed at his wisdom. Amen, verses number two through four, I ain't got time to read all that, but what it says here is that he told her all her questions when she had seen, verse four, all Solomon's wisdom, amen, and the house that he built, she seen his wisdom for herself. Alexander McLaren said this, in our days, the easier the attainment, the less the appreciation. The queen of Sheba had no books and she traveled far to get wisdom. We are flooded with all appliances and many of us would not cross the road to get Solomon's wisdom. We've got all these resources. We've got 66 books of this Bible. All of His wisdom. We've got a book of Proverbs about His wisdom. And we've got 66 books of His wisdom. My friend, I would love to say tonight that there is none wiser than Jesus. Amen. 1 Kings chapter 3 and verse number 12. Amen. Let me read you this real quick. You don't have to turn 1 Kings 3, 12, just make a note of that, amen. The Bible says here, amen, that behold, I have done according to thy words. I have given thee a wise and understanding heart so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise unto thee. There's nobody like him. I want to thank God tonight for His Word. I want to thank Him for His wisdom. My friend, Psalm 119.97 said, Oh, how love I thy law. It is my meditation all the day. Amen. Psalm 119.101, I have refrained my feet from every evil way that I might keep thy word. I'm glad he said in Psalm 119, verse 89, forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Amen. My friend, I'm glad the Bible said in 1 Peter 1, verse 23, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever for all flesh is as grass. That's how feeble we are. The Bible said, All the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass witherth and the flower thereof falleth away. But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. Amen. I'm glad Hebrews 4.12 said, For the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. piercing even to the dividing and sunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And the Bible is the sword, the two-edged sword. and discerns what's really going on in our heart. And I want to thank Him for His words. I stand amazed at His Word. Does His Word amaze you tonight? David said in Psalm 119, 127, Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold. He said, I hate and abhor lying. but thy law do I love. Great peace have they which love thy law, and nothing shall offend them. My friend, that in this Bible tonight is everything that you need. It's not all God knows, but it's all God wants you to know. I believe there'll be people that live, live a full life in Rowanica, Berris County. Amen, that live 60, 70, 80 years. live and die and never read through their Bible one time. Not one time. Start today. If you've never done that, start today. But I told a co-worker one time, I said, I believe there'll be piles of people that stand before God because God's gonna judge us out of this book. God's not gonna make up anything just off the top of his head. Jesus said in John 12, if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my word, hath one that judgeth him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. So God's gonna judge us out of this book. And there'll be people, I told a co-worker I was witnessing to, there'll be people that stand before God and God's gonna say, I'm judging you about this. They're gonna say, Lord, I didn't know that. He's gonna say, you had a Bible, why didn't you know it? I'm gonna judge you out of this book. God's gonna judge us out of this book. Amen. And if you're not saved tonight, God's going to judge you out of His Word. And if you reject Jesus, amen, you say, well, I'm not going to reject Jesus. But if you don't listen to the preacher, if you don't listen to the Word of God, if you don't want to hear the Word of God, my friend, you are rejecting Jesus. That's what Jesus is, is He not? And the Word was made flesh. and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is the Word of God. I stand amazed at His Word tonight. I'm so glad one night when I got saved as a 15-year-old boy, I, amen, did not, not one person, by the amazing grace of God, I give Him all the glory. Amen, don't misunderstand me tonight, but amen, nobody ever had to tell me to read my Bible. Nobody ever did. Why? Because the author comes to live on the inside. And I had, for the first time, a desire to read the Word of God. Amen? Why? Because it's my sustenance. Amen? It's what sustains me. Amen? It's, thank God, how sweet are thy words unto my taste. Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth, thank God. Hallelujah for His Word. I stand amazed at its life-changing power. When you start doing what's in that Bible, and God starts renewing your mind, and God starts changing your mind, God starts changing the way you think. Oh, hallelujah. I used to think like the devil. I used to think like the world. I was of my father the devil, and the lust of my father I did, and I was led around by the devil my life. But God's word changed my life. What do you think got Lazarus out of the grave? It was the word. Amen. What do you think when he said, amen, come, amen, when he said that word to end the garden, to marry, all he had to do was say marry. I'm telling you, my friend, I stand amazed at his word and how it'll change your life and how God, amen, will transform your mind. And I'm so glad that all that junk that I had in my mind, I got in that Bible and I'm amazed at how it's transformed my life. I am what I am. I was praying today and I said, Lord, if there's anything good in me, it's Jesus. And if there's anything bad in me, it's me. I'm just amazed tonight at his wisdom. I'm amazed that he's got all the answers, all the answers about eternity. You don't have to wonder where you're gonna go when you die. Amen, why? Because these things have I written unto you, that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that you have eternal life because of this Bible. The only kind of assurance is Bible assurance. And the Holy Ghost takes the Bible and His Spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are the sons of God. Have you ever memorized this Bible? Amen, I've heard people say this, well, I'm not really a reader. Let me say this, that may be true, but when you get saved, you become a reader. You become a reader. Man, she listened to his wisdom. My friends, when the Bible said in verse three, he told her all her questions, what that meant, she had to get quiet and say, yes, my Lord. Yes, my Lord. How about this year we get in front of his wisdom? Get in front of his word and say, yes, Lord. When God says that don't need to be in your life, remove it. When God says add this to your life, add it. Amen, why? Because it's his wisdom. He knows what's best for us. He knows what's best for you. Is that not what happened to Daniel and the three Hebrew boys when they did what they had to do in Daniel chapter number one? The Bible said they were 10 times better. 10 times better. I just wanna tell you young people, amen, you will be better off. Amen. If you get saved and give your life to Jesus, you will be 10 times better off. Amen. I'm gonna tell you this. There's two ways to learn something. You can either learn it by listening to advice, listening to wisdom, or you can learn it by experience. Okay, listen to this. I love you. I hope that comes across tonight. Amen, I love you. by experience or by listening. Experience is the better teacher, but it has a whole lot less mercy. Amen. Amen. And when you get in that Bible, when you get in these classes, when you hear this preacher, he says, don't drink, don't ever drink alcohol. Listen to that. Amen. Don't ever be alone with the opposite sex. Cause it'll spare your life. You read the book of Ecclesiastes. You read him and read what Solomon went through. And he said, I hated life. I hated life. Why? Because living to the pleasures of the flesh, it will never satisfy. Amen, it's empty. Amen, it'll never satisfy you. And the Bible said, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. And in 1 John 2, it said, amen, that these things passeth away, but the he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. Abideth forever. You listen to that wisdom. Amen, when a preacher, amen, preaches this book and tells you how to be saved, you better listen. Amen, because to be saved, amen, is to repent and believe the gospel. Amen, and anybody that's ever been saved will never be the same. Amen. Anybody that met Jesus didn't stay the same. Every blind man that met Jesus never saw the same. I just felt like slowing down, amen. I like to preach fast, but sometimes God just wants me to slow down. Never saw the same. Every deaf man never heard the same. Every dumb man come to the Lord with an impediment never talked the same. Every lame man that hobbled their way to Jesus never walked the same. Amen. Every leper, all putrefying sores, all filthy. Nose collapsed. Amen. Ears fell off. Fingers twisted up. A sad, sad leper. Every leper ever cleansed never looked the same. Amen. Every dead man ever raised by Jesus never lived the same. There ain't no way Lazarus lived the same after than he did before. Amen. And everybody that meets Jesus, amen, becomes different. Hallelujah. By his power. By his wonderful wisdom. By his wonderful power. You know, there'll be things you gotta change your mind about when you listen to his wisdom. Oh yeah. Amen, I could preach there all night, amen. Praise God. Number two, I stand amazed at his worship. The Bible said here that his house, she saw the house in verse four, she saw the house that he built. Let me say there was no temple like Solomon's temple. You know, David laid out the plans for the temple. And one preacher said that David himself before he died, gave $1 billion, at least $1 billion to that temple, and he never even was going to get to see it. That's how much he loved God's house. And I stand amazed at God's house tonight. In Psalm 122, verse one, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Amen, can you say that tonight? He didn't say I was mad. He didn't say I was sad. Amen, he didn't say I was upset or irritated that I gotta go to God's house. And I don't know who the they was. I thought about that one day. Who asked him to come to God's house? But it does not matter who it is. They came to David and said, David, let's go. And he said, let's go. Amen. Why? Because there's no house like God's house. And I want to stand amazed tonight at the house of God. Jesus, the Bible said in Ephesians 5.25, husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it. Thank God. In Hebrews 10.25, I think we quote that sometimes in not understanding what the Hebrews were going through their persecution, but even through their persecution tonight, amen, in that day, Paul said, Amen. Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. You need the house of God. It's another thing God put in my heart. Amen. There will be times, amen, in my life that I was glad not to go to church. But when I got saved, I mean, God just put his house in my heart. I said, I got to go to church. I get to go to church. I get to go to church. Amen, it's not boring. It's wonderful. I can sing that song, beautiful words, wonderful words of life, amen. I'm just simply saying, they were persecuted, yet they still were commanded to go to church. There's not a one of us tonight, amen, that we're looking in our rear view mirror, amen, to see if we was gonna get pulled over for coming to church tonight. Maybe if he's going a little too fast, maybe he was watching. But I'm telling you how blessed we are. We did not have to check for one second. We're not persecuted like they were in Hebrews. But Paul said for them not to, don't forsake God's house. Be here every time the doors is open. Be involved. Ask yourself this, what kind of church would my church be if every member were just like me? Would anybody be here if they were just like me? Amen. Would anybody be involved? Would anybody be giving? Amen. I could go on and on. But I'm simply saying, amen, we know we've passed from death to life because we love the brethren. Thank God for 1 John chapter 3. Amen. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 9. But as touching brotherly love, You need not that I write unto you, for ye yourselves are told of God to love one another. I want to thank God tonight. I've been amazed time and time again. I've stood amazed time and again at the people of God. Amen. God's people are the best people on planet earth. I hear people say that. Well, them hypocrites down there, amen. Hey, let me say this about a hypocrite. A hypocrite don't intend to be what he pretends to be. Sit with that a second. A hypocrite don't intend to be what he pretends to be. Amen, but you know those hypocrites have the job and we still go to work. Amen, those hypocrites at Walmart, we still go to Walmart. I'm just simply saying, you know what hypocrites are? You know what a counterfeit is? You only counterfeit something that has value. Amen. There ain't nobody out here counterfeiting things that don't have value. Why? Because there's no need to spend the time to counterfeit if it's not worth anything. Everything that's real is gonna have a counterfeit. Amen. You're not gonna get rid of counterfeits. Why? Because we're, thank God this thing's real. And the devil, the devil is gonna make counterfeits. And the devil is gonna put your eye on counterfeits. And he's gonna say, there ain't nobody real down there. Amen, there ain't nobody real at the church. Or that preacher said this or that, amen. That brother, that Christian said this or that, amen. But my friend, I'm telling you, I thank God for the people of God. There's nobody like his people. Amen. Number three, I stand amazed at his workers. In verse five, the Bible said, amen, the meat of his table, the sitting of his servants, the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his assent by whence he went up to the house of the Lord. Look at verse number eight, the Bible said this, happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom. My friend, you think about that, a queen, a queen of Sheba, one in charge of everything, started to envy not Solomon but his servants. He says, your servants are happy. You know what she was saying? My servants came with me because they had to. Solomon's servants are doing what they're doing because they want to. Amen. They're happy. That means they smile. Amen. That word happy means blessed. Amen. It means blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sit in the sea of the scornful. I could go on, but I'm simply saying that when we're living for God, We ought to do it with a smile. I heard a preacher mention last night, Psalm chapter 100, serve the Lord with gladness. My friends, we're so blessed tonight to be able to serve him. What them servants of Solomon realized, we get to serve the best king that there's ever been. We get to serve the greatest king that there's ever been. I don't have to be here, I get to be here. I'm so glad, amen, I was praying today again. Amen, I was just thinking about the doors that God has opened for me. I praise the Lord for that. I don't deserve to preach to anybody, but I praise God for calling me tonight and let me come tonight. I wanna be glad about it. I wanna be happy about it. When you sing, sing happy. Be blessed, amen. Serve them with gladness. Why? Because that'll make the world say, there's something different about them. I want what they got. I want what they got. Imagine that tonight. Think about that tonight. Look over this past year that we just come out of. Look at your life. Look at these last 12 months. Would anybody want what you have based on how you lived and acted this past year? Amen, by our attitudes. Amen, they smiled. They served in verse number eight. Amen, they were glad to do whatever it is you need. Amen, the attendance of his ministers. Yes, Solomon, I'd be glad to do that. What do you need to do now, Lord? Amen, they stood. The Bible said they stand continually. Amen, and hear thy word. My friend, you just need to keep standing. Amen. When this year ends, just keep standing. Just keep standing. Just keep living for God. Keep standing where you've always stood. Amen. Stand strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Amen. Be strong in the Lord. Stand. They submitted in verse eight. And they hear thy wisdom. You know what this means to serve? They that wait upon the Lord, I don't mean just, I mean, get under covers and just wait on somebody to come get you. That means like a waiter, they that wait upon the Lord. Lord, can I do something for you now? Lord, is there anything I can do this week? Lord, is there anything today I can do at my job? Is there anybody I can be a witness to? Lord, is there anything I can say that would be a blessing? Lord, is there anything I can say in this service? Amen, that would be a blessing. Is there anything I can testify about? Amen, that would give you glory. My friend, like a waiter. Amen, that would cause you to renew. Amen, it would cause you to rise. That would cause you to run and that would cause you to rest. Amen, Isaiah 40, 31, amen. But think about this, compare it with her servants in verse 13. Amen, she and her servants at the very end. Thank God, his servants were a whole lot better. Amen, number four, I stand amazed at his works. Think about this, his acts are what he does. His wisdom is what he is. Verse six is to seven, and I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. What all God's done, I stand amazed. I could tell you about his justification. I'm justified tonight, I'm redeemed. Amen, I'm born again. Amen, God has made, declared me righteous in Jesus. Amen, his sanctification. Amen, thank God. He has set me apart. He has sanctified me. And now progressively he sanctified me day after day after day. Amen, that's why they said that about Solomon's servants apparel. They dress different, amen. Solomon's servants dress different. Glorification. Praise God, one day I'm gonna be glorified. Amen, that's 2 Corinthians 1.10, who delivered us from so great a death, that's justification, and doth deliver, that's sanctification, in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us, that's glorification. You say, what all has he done? Well, here's what the queen said in verse number seven, after all I've heard, the half hadn't even been told. I hadn't even heard the half of it. Amen, he's so good. He does so much for us and in us. Let me say this, what God does in you is better than what He does for you. What He does in you is greater than what He does for you. Man, number five, I stand amazed at His wealth. Verses 10 to 12, what she gave the king, amen. And what verse number 12? I mean, I read this in verse number, let me find this here. In verse number 14, I could go down to verse 23, read verse 23. So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. There was nobody that had more than Solomon. Amen, look at verse number 21. And all King Solomon's drinking vessels were of gold. Now, I've drunk out of Styrofoam. I've drunk out of, I guess this would be plastic. I got no problem drinking out of that. But Solomon's cups are made out of gold. Solomon's got so much money. Lord, what do you want your cups made out of? Just make them gold. We got plenty. Even his cups were gold. That's how wealthy he is. Amen. I have never went without. He's all I need. He's all I need. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Praise God. Amen. He's in charge. He's able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Number six, and I'm done. I stand amazed at His welcoming. Verse 13 said, King Solomon gave unto the Queen of Sheba all her desire. Look at this phrase, whatsoever she asked. That reminds me of John 14 and 13. Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. How welcoming was the King of Solomon. Well, he's the same king that said, come unto me. All you that labor and heavy laden, I'll give you rest. But here's what he told her. Whatever you got, she's getting ready to leave. Ask anything, it's yours. And no doubt, she said, maybe got up some courage and said, can I have that? Solomon said, servants, load it up. She said, maybe gets a little more confidence. What about that? Over there, that's wonderful, that's awesome. Solomon says, load it up. She says, well, what about that? Load it up. And she began to learn that whatsoever she asked, she received. I stand amazed how welcoming Jesus is. He's calling to me and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. What did she give? She gave gold, 9,000 pounds in verse 10. Amen, she gave spices. That's incense, that's worship. She gave precious stones. Amen, that's like the high priest had on his chest that stood for souls. She gave trees that they made pillars out of the house of God. They made instruments out of it, amen. And she gave to him. But in verse 13, it says, after whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. You know, she got a whole lot more than she gave. You cannot out-give God. Try it this year. I mean, I see these signs. Hey man, you can't out-give God. God will give it back to you more. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall men give unto your bosom. And that's the grace of giving. That's the grace of giving. That God will give more through you than he will to you. Amen. I wonder, maybe she left that day, headed back home to Sheba, and she thought, man, I wish I would've asked for that. I should've asked for that. But I didn't have the confidence to. My friends, we're living like paupers. And when we stand before the judgment seat, amen, the Lord's gonna say, you could've had that if you would've just asked. If you would've just asked. What would you ask for tonight if you knew that God would give it? What would you ask? Amen, I think our prayers are so little. Are so little. I stand amazed tonight, do you? Do you stand amazed? I believe there's a pile of people that have never been enamored, that have never got wrapped up in the wonder of it all because they've just never been saved. And I believe this queen of Sheba got saved. I'll read you the verse in Matthew chapter number 10, 12 rather, Matthew chapter number 12. I close with this verse, Matthew chapter number 12 and verse number 42. Here's what Jesus said about this woman. Of all the people Jesus could talk about, this queen, he said this, the queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation and shall condemn it. For she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And behold, a greater than Solomon is here. Is here. That's how I know she got saved by the grace of God that day, is because Jesus said, one day in the judgment, she'll say, all of you are condemned. And Jesus Christ himself used her as an example of how to come to Jesus, how to come to God. And all the people that heard the most about Jesus, that's who he's preaching to, the Pharisees. They wouldn't listen. but the Queen of Sheba traveled over 1,000 miles to hear it. I'm finding this in my life. I don't know a lot, but I'm finding this. The ones that are growing up in church and going out to never come back to church, that are hearing it the most, appreciate it the least. Is that not right? They hear it the most, but appreciate it the least. And then we'll have somebody come in from, amen, a visitation or somebody come in from work. Amen, somebody come in randomly and get saved by the grace of God. And it's the best thing they've ever heard. And they get saved and give their life to God. Amen. I wonder one day in the judgment, will you look at the queen and Jesus say, here's how far she came to be amazed, to be saved. Why don't you, why don't you come? Why don't you come? As we bow our heads, sister, would you play just a moment of time? Thank you for your attention tonight. Thank you for the opportunity.
