What we're going to be looking
at again is things that basically Jesus is going to be teaching
his disciples. He's going to be using some illustrations,
some parables about things that'll be taking place at the second
coming, not the rapture of the church. So that we'll be looking
at that. As a quick reminder, again, why
are we in Matthew 24? We've been going through, we
did about four or five lessons on the rapture of the church
age saints. And then I popped into the Olivet Discourse. The
reason I did that is not because the Olivet Discourse teaches
about the rapture, which it does not. It teaches about things
that will be taking place at the second coming when Jesus
Christ comes to this earth. The rapture, of course, Jesus,
does He touch down on the earth? The answer is no. How do we know
that? 1 Thessalonians 4 tells us He comes in the clouds, in
the air, the dead in Christ rise, the believers, alive at that
time, rise up and meet Christ in the air and immediately takes
him to heaven. So Jesus does not come down to
this earth during the rapture. He's above it, but doesn't come
down. Matthew chapter 24, we went through
the first 14 verses, which are nine specific signs about when
Jesus comes back and his return, not the rapture. Those signs
are reiterated in what other book of the Bible? Revelations,
specifically chapter six, the sealed judgments correspond with
the majority of things in Matthew 24, the first 13 verses. So what
we see happening today are a lot of things that have been going
on for, if you will, 2,000 years. And for 2,000 years, people have
been saying, well, the signs of Matthew chapter 24, the rapture
must be coming because those signs, we see wars, we see rumors
of wars, we see false Christ, we see this, we see that. What
the Bible in Matthew 24 is talking about is not just the average
everyday events that are taking place for the last 2,000 years. Matthew 24, he's talking about
the specific signs that will take place during the tribulation
period. So even though we have things
that are similar, they are nowhere near to the depth, to the strength,
to the scope, talked about in Matthew 24. Matthew 24, 14, we
talked about evangelism, of the entire world. I made a
strong statement a few weeks ago, there's missionaries that
will come, they don't understand the passage and state that the
rapture can't happen until the world is evangelized. Well folks,
that has nothing to do with the rapture of the church. I'm all
for the missionaries wanting to reach everybody for Christ,
but it's the wrong passage to use. The evangelism that'll take
place in Matthew 24, 14 when the entire world will hear the
gospel is going to take place when 144,000
young male Jewish virgin evangelists, Revelation 7 and 14 go throughout
the world. Revelation 11 talks about the
two witnesses that will be preaching the gospel. Many folks will come
to Christ during the tribulation and the gospel will go forth.
So all people somehow will hear the gospel during the seven year
tribulation period. After verse 14, we went into
the abomination of desolation. Now folks, if Matthew 24 is talking
about the rapture, we got a major problem because is there a third
temple in Israel today? No. So there cannot, and again,
I put that out there on purpose because when people falsely call
Matthew 24 about the rapture, it just doesn't fit contextually.
The abomination of desolation will take place during the tribulation,
and we know specifically when it's going to happen, which is
at the midpoint or halfway through the tribulation period. We went
through the verses, Daniel 9.27, which talks about the seven-year
peace treaty that the Antichrist will make with the Jewish people.
In Daniel 9.27, it says in the midpoint of the tribulation,
or the midpoint of that seven-year period, he's going to break that
peace treaty with the Jewish people. Well, what's going to
happen? He says he's going to make the sacrifices at the oblation
end. Again, that's all in that one
little verse, Daniel 9.27. We went through 2 Thessalonians
2.4, which talked about the abomination of desolation that will come.
Revelation 13 talks about the temple that will be desecrated
when the Antichrist has an image to himself placed in the temple.
We know from Revelation 13 that happens at the midpoint of the
tribulation. So again, everything in Matthew
24 cannot come true during the church age. So Matthew 24 was,
again, it was specific from Jesus to the disciples at that time. The church age hadn't even started
yet. When does the church age begin?
Well, after the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of
Christ. Then we start the church age which we currently live in
and have lived in for the first 2,000 years. So where are we
at now? We talked about the abomination
of desolation. Then we looked at last week,
we looked at the specific signs that will take place the day
that Jesus Christ returns to the earth to set up his millennial
kingdom. The sun will be darkened, the moon will be darkened, the
stars will fall from heaven and the earth will be shaken, all
right? It'll be the awful, dreadful
day of the Lord when Jesus Christ returns, not for the rapture
of the church. When Jesus comes in the clouds,
in the air, there's not gonna be any fancy signs, there's not
gonna be any cosmic disturbance. He's gonna come and gonna blow
the trumpet and up we go, done, over. Now I say we, if it happens
in our generation, if it doesn't, whatever generation is alive
at that time will experience that. All right, now we're going
into Matthew 24 verse 36, and we're going to be talking about
what are the signs that will be taking place during the tribulation
period. Now again, and I encourage you
to do this, and a lot of people are scared of the book of Revelation.
I don't know why. It's pretty straightforward.
Yes, there's a lot of what are known as apocalyptic style writings. And most of you are familiar
with that term. Apocalyptic style writing is what's used in the
book of Revelation. What does that mean? Apocalyptic
is symbolic items that have a prophetic nexus. So again, I always, to
make it as easy as possible, When the Bible talks about a
dragon in Revelation and other places, are we talking about
a literal dragon? Who are we talking about? We're
talking about Satan. Revelation 19 says the devil,
Satan, the serpent of old, all synonymous terms referring to
Satan, all right? So that apocalyptic style writing
are symbolic things that are used to state a literal truth,
but God always defines what that truth is. All right, so now we
go to Matthew chapter 24, and we're going to be talking about
what is going to be happening during the days preceding Christ's
literal second coming to this earth. And again, you can read
this, and I've heard so many people use this for the rapture.
Unfortunately, they should not use this passage for that. Again, this is dealing with the
second coming, which is seven years after the rapture. Matthew
24, verse 36. We're talking about a tremendous
spiritual complacency that will be taking place during that time.
Well, let me ask you this question. Is there spiritual complacency
today? Absolutely. Has there been spiritual complacency
for the last 2,000 years? Absolutely. I mean, when you
look at it from a myopic standpoint, or maybe better stated, a 30-foot
overview, there's always been spiritual complacency. But God
is now drilling down into what exactly is going to be taking
place during that horrible tribulation time. Now the reason I said you
ought to read Revelation, when you read Revelation starting
at chapter 6 all the way through 16, you'll read about the massive
amount of judgments, 28 specific judgments that are literally
going to do all but destroy this earth and humanity. It's dreadful. It's horrible. And it's not going
to be like we are today. Again, me and you will be up
in heaven if you're a Christian. You'll be up in heaven during
this time. We'll be rejoicing. We'll be going through the judgment
seat of Christ, which is a good thing. So we're not going to
deal with this. But God is saying, listen, before
Christ comes, these are specifically how it's going to be here on
earth. And though we can relate to a great deal of this, excuse
the grammar, you ain't seen nothing yet. All right, verse 36, but
of that day and hour, basically when Christ comes back, because
that's what the previous verses we just discussed were, but of
that day and hour when Jesus Christ returns basically to the
earth, knoweth no man. No, not the angels of heaven,
but my Father only. All right, so God is saying the
specific day when he's going to return to this earth, nobody
knows. In other words, the date setters
that try and set dates for the rapture and the second coming
and all the, don't ever set dates. If you're listening to somebody
on the internet, if you're listening to a preacher that's sending
dates, turn them off. They are false. They don't know
what they're speaking about. I'm not trying to be unkind, but
the Bible makes it very clear. You're not gonna know. The angels
don't even know, so don't try and figure it out. It's gonna
be a secret and is a secret. But at that day and hour, when
Christ returns to the earth, knoweth no man, no, not the angels
of heaven, but my Father only. Now, does God know all things?
Of course, omnipresent, omniscient, immutable, so many attributes
of God, he knows. Verse 37, okay, now here's the
sign. But as the days of Noah were,
so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Well, very interesting
because we've been going through, if you come to Sunday night church,
and again, we've been off for several weeks with the holidays,
but we've been going through Genesis. We went through Genesis
chapter three. We've been through, specifically
Genesis five, six, seven, and eight. Six, seven, and eight
are talking about the flood. Why did God send the flood to
this earth during the days of Noah? because of violence, because
of a hatred for God, because of a disbelief in God, because
people were eat, drink, and be merry, and they could care less
about God. When you look at the entire earth
during the days of Noah, how many people did God save through
the flood? Out of the entire world population,
how many people did God take out of the flood? Eight people,
Noah, his wife, Shem, Ham, Japheth, and their wives. That's eight
total people. That's it. Now, the Bible doesn't
tell us how many people were alive during that time period.
We just don't know. People have speculated hundreds
of thousands. That's probably minimum. Some
have speculated as many as a billion people. We don't know. But the
one thing we do know is only eight people were saved through
the flood. So he's saying, listen, okay,
so here's what it was like in the days of Noah. And I wanna,
this little, picture here takes us back. On that ship were eight
people. We know the waters, and we're
not gonna go through the Genesis account right now, but we know
the waters exceeded the highest mountain. How many people were
able to survive the flood outside of those eight souls? None. God
took them out. It was horrific, horrible judgment. But the issue is, and of course
you can make a correlation here, which I think is going beyond
what he's saying here, But it's like, okay, eight people were
saved out of the entire world. But he's not saying the amount
of people saved will be exactly the same in, if you will, during
the tribulation time, but he does make this correlation. The
atmosphere, the environment, the spiritual temperature of
the earth is going to be exactly the same as it was in the days
of Noah. And here he explains it, what
was going on in the days of Noah, the exact same thing that'll
be taking place during the seven year tribulation. For as in the
days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking,
marrying, given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into
the ark. In other words, life is good. Eat, drink, be merry, have a
good family, grow up. But as far as we're concerned,
God has no part in their life. For as in the days that were
before the flood, they ate, they drank, they married, they gave
in marriage, and that was it. No spiritual temperature, spiritual
complacency, no movement towards God. Now let me ask you a question.
Is our nation kind of following that metric? Is the international
world following this metric? All right, so at a minimum, we
could say this. It is setting the stage for Bible
prophecy to be fulfilled. This world is not getting any
better. It's getting worse. We're seeing so many things rise
up. We're seeing issues again, like the terrorism is increasing. Folks, I haven't seen the amount
of terrorism that's taken place in our country back since 9-11. Things are starting to pop up.
I'm scared to death, quite frankly, what's going to happen over the
next couple of weeks before the president's put in place. And
we should be praying, asking God to preserve things while
we're here. But folks, there's no jokes.
It's coming out even stronger than I've ever heard it on the
media. I've heard it through law enforcement channels back
in the day. But they're making it very clear. We don't know
how many terrorist cells we are. There are. We don't know how
many terrorists are in our country. We don't know what they're planning
next, and that's true. They don't know. I'm telling
you, the government doesn't know. This stuff is underground. 32,000 children have been lost
that have come through the borders. Now, if you can't find 32,000
children, if you're not tracking children, what do you think they're
doing with the adults? Nothing, for the most part. So the stage
is set for something potentially that really is going to make
the last days of NOAA come to fruition here. But anyway, let's
get back to the text. All right, they knew not, verse
39, they didn't know the flood came and took them all away,
so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. Now here's where
we need to start really drilling down on the context. What's the
situation on earth when Noah and the flood came to fruition? Horrible violence. Horrible things
were taking place. You read that in Genesis 5, Genesis
6. Things were just a wreck. They
were messed up. There was violence. There was
hatred. There's corruption among allegedly God's people. Nobody
was following the Lord. It was terrible. In addition
to that, nobody was following anything spiritual. It just didn't
exist. They didn't care about God. And
folks, again, all the statistics, we can talk about 30% of people
in America that go to, that believe they're Christians and all the
other nonsense that's put out in statistics. There's nowhere
near 30% of people that understand who Christ is, unfortunately,
in our society. It's a bad society and it's getting
worse day by day. And Bible's making it clear. They didn't know the flood was
coming. Folks, they do not, what is he
saying? He's saying, during the seven-year tribulation period.
People will not be focused on Christ. Who will they be focused
on, by the way? They'll be focused on Satan,
the Antichrist, and the false prophet, all spoken about in
Revelation 13. Again, I just keep pounding and pounding and
pounding Revelation 13. Why? Because it makes it clear
at the midpoint of the seven-year tribulation period, there will
be, it's not speculation, there will be a one world government,
a one world religion, and a one world economy. All the things
you read about with the world banks, with the digital currencies,
it's going to happen. All the things that you're concerned
about, at least should be concerned about, when it comes to a one
world religion is being put in place as we speak. All the things
talked about in Revelation 13, that if you do not worship the
beast, you will be what? You'll be killed. That's why
I've written the last couple of books about facial recognition
software, artificial intelligence, transhumanism, all this stuff
is happening today. It's not science fiction anymore. It's not the Jetsons cartoon
anymore, it's reality. I've talked about multiple times
in this group. There are multiple stadiums in
America today. Big, giant football, baseball
stadiums that you do not need a ticket, you don't need a Cell
phone, all you need is your face, facial recognition to get you
into the game. That is now becoming the new
form of identification. China, two cameras for every
person that walks the street. They know every single person,
they know who they are, they know where they go, they know
how they look, they know how they act, and they're able to
track every single person. Digital currency, social currency,
not science fiction. It's real in China. The people
in China are starting to rebel against this, but it's happening.
And basically, they don't realize the danger that they're in. Now,
folks in this room that I talk to, and those of you that send
me articles and other things regarding what's happening internationally
and domestically, you're aware, you're cognizant, things are
changing. Now, the bad of the bad doesn't
happen until the midpoint of the seven-year tribulation. We'll
already been in heaven three and a half years. However, Can
right now, can today the stage be set for things that are coming?
Not only can they be, they are. So we put these things out, we
let you know about them. I'll just do one more quick illustration. So about two years ago, most
of you know, every December I go to the Pre-Trib Research National
Conference, which I had the privilege of speaking at this year. And
I'm getting ready to go into the check line in Dallas. And
I saw something I never saw before. And there's a bunch of little
computers and a couple of people standing around them. And Dallas
lines are long. They're not like Milwaukee, where
you're in and out through the check lines. And I'm there with
a couple other folks. And they're like, hey, how would
you like to get through the line quicker? I'm like, hey, works
for me. What do you got to do? And they said, well, just come
over here. And we'll take an iris scan. and we'll put you
in our system. And then every time you come
in, you just come to our computer, you do your iris scan and facial
recognition, and you can jump through all these lines and go
straight to the security person and pop right through. And I'm
like, oh man, that sounds like a great idea. Does it sound like
a great idea? Yeah, no. All of a sudden it
dawns on me, I'm like, and I said this to myself, I would never
say it to anyone else. I'm like, you dummy. I'm like, I mean,
and of course, having been in government work, they got everything
you can imagine on me anyway, but I'm like, do I want to give
the feds another little digital picture of whatever? And I'm
like, no, I think I'll pass. So fortunately, we got out of
that line and went and stood in a big line and we made our
plane just the same. But OK, so that's coming. Am
I making a point? I mean, folks, the world is changing.
It's changing as we speak, and it's going to end up exactly
like it's saying here. They had no idea that the flood
is coming during the tribulation time. They have no idea because
nobody's talking, nobody's preaching hardly. It's confined even though
everybody's hearing the gospel, they're not accepting it. They're
following the Antichrist and they don't realize that Jesus
Christ is coming back. And now here's the big one. This
is the one that always somebody is going down the wrong pathway
on these verses. We're gonna read them carefully.
Go back to the previous one. They were what? Eating, drinking,
blah, blah, blah. Marry and give them marriage
until the day no one entered there. And knew not until the
flood came and took them all away, so shall the coming, took
them what? Took them all away. Took them
all away. That was bliss, right? He took
them all away. They all went to heaven, they
all had a great time, life was good. Is that what it's talking
about? He took them away and what? It starts with a J. He took them
away in judgment. Judgment. What did you say? Okay. He took them away in judgment. It was not a blessing to be taken
away here. They were taken away in judgment. They were killed because they
didn't follow the Lord. Now the very next verse, Let's
keep it in context, let's not change it. What does he say in
verse 40? Then shall two be in the field, the one shall be taken
and the other left. Wait a minute, doesn't that sound
like the rapture? There could be two people walking out in
the field, one person's a Christian, one will be left and the other
taken. Well, yeah, that could fit, but that's not contextually
accurate. Verse 41, two women shall be
grinding at the mill, the one shall be taken and the other
left. Taken where? Taken to what? This is the big
issue. This is where people confuse
the rapture with the second coming. When Jesus comes back in Revelation
chapter 19, let me see, he comes back, he puts his arms up and
say, I love y'all. Is that what happens in Revelation
19? He comes down to this earth and the battle of what takes
place? Armageddon. Everybody knows about Armageddon,
contextually use it right or not, the media knows about it,
the unsaved world knows about it. Is Armageddon a good thing
or a bad thing? Well, it depends on which side
you're on, right? Armageddon's horrible. It is
the destruction of everything left on this earth that is evil
and against God. Zechariah chapter 14 makes it
very clear in verse four that all nations will be gathered
together at the battle of Armageddon which is a little bit north of
Jerusalem, right outside of, I'm missing it, Mount Carmel. There we go. Mount Carmel's overlooking
the Jezreel Valley. It's overlooking the Valley of
Armageddon. You can see the old city of Megiddo,
which of course stands for where the Valley of Armageddon is going
to be. This is not a pleasant scenario. It's a horrible scenario.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill. The one shall be taken
and the other left. All right, let's quickly go through
our concepts here. So we look back in 2348 BC, which
is the earth was created approximately 4004 BC based on the genealogies
in Genesis 5 and 11. 2348, God destroyed the earth
through the universal catastrophic flood, saved only eight people. Jesus then comes in approximately
AD based on your dating, AD 3033. Then what happens? Well, after
the ascension of Christ, the church age begins in which we
are currently living. Been going on for some 2,000
years. Next major event is removal, the snatch away, the rapture
of the church. All right, then what happens
to start the seven-year tribulation period is the confirming of the
peace treaty with the Jewish people, Daniel 9.27. Matthew
24 says, before the second coming of Jesus, what is going to happen? It's going to be like the days
of Noah. Way back in 2348, it was violence. There was no love for God. Everybody
did what was right in his own eyes. And God said, bye-bye.
That's the days of Noah. Is there anything nice and sweet
and loving about this? To be honest, no. I mean, this
is all about judgment that the passage is talking about. 1 Corinthians
15 tells us about the rapture. This certainly doesn't match
up with Matthew 24. Bible says, behold, and he's
talking about the rapture, I show you a mystery. We, who's the
we here? Christians. We shall not all
sleep or die, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye at the last trump, For the trumpet shall
sound, the dead shall be raised incorruptible. Does that match
up with 1 Thessalonians 4? Behold, the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and
the trumpet of God, the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we which
are alive in the rain shall be caught up together with them
in the air, in the clouds, and so shall we ever be with the
Lord. I think it does. In a moment, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trump, the trumpet will sound, the dead
shall be raised incorruptible. matching with the dead saints
that God will resurrect and do what? Give their glorified bodies.
And we shall be changed. We'll all be changed. The dead
in Christ, those alive in Christ. For this corruptible must put
out incorruption. This mortal must put out immortality.
Does not match up with Matthew chapter 24. That's the reason
I'm telling you this. The rapture is totally different
scenario than the second coming. All right, so in light of that,
let's go back. because I kind of skipped through
it quick. All right. We're talking about judgment
that happened in the days of Noah. We're talking about judgment
when two people will be going, if you will, through the field.
One will be taken in judgment. The other will escape. Two women
shall be grinding at the mill. The one shall be taken in judgment. The other left. When we get a
little bit further down into Matthew, he says, listen, Jewish
people, when you see the abomination of desolation take place, that's
back in Matthew 24, 15, what did he tell the Jewish people
to do? One word, three letters. Run, get out of town, flee. How do we, why should they flee?
Well, we gotta go back to Zechariah 13, verses eight and nine. Two
thirds of all the Jewish people are gonna die at this point,
two thirds. And he made it very clear, if you don't run, if you
don't get out of town, you're going to face death. I mean,
it's certain. Get out of town, run for your
life. So we're not talking about the rapture, we're not talking
about something beautiful, wonderful, and oh, everything's gonna be,
no, he said, listen, get out of town. Like the days of Noah,
there's gonna be horrific judgment. Like the days when Jesus is coming
back. You read Revelation 19. He comes
down with a sharp sword and out of it he does what? He devours
the enemies. That's what he's talking about
here. So contextually, we need to get it right. All right, a
couple more here and then we'll have to quit. Matthew 24, 42,
what is he telling? Now again, you could say, well,
shouldn't we be doing this as the church? Watch therefore for
you know not what hour your Lord does come. Well, does that apply
to the rapture, if you will? Could we make it apply? Absolutely. Every single one of us, if we're
walking with God, we're looking forward to the time when Jesus
Christ is gonna come and take us out of here, and hopefully
in our lifetime. That's not what Matthew 24, 42
is talking about. He's talking about the believers,
the disciples, those that turned to Christ during the tribulation
time. He says, I want you to watch. You've seen the most horrible,
despicable things on earth for the last, seven years or three
and a half years, wherever we're at at this point, you've seen
the horrible things that are taking place. Don't be like the
people that are just eat, drink, and being merry and avoiding
everything that's going on. I don't know how you'll avoid
the worst catastrophes of all time that are gonna happen on
this earth during the Great Tribulation. But he said you need to watch.
You need to be awake, believers. You need to walk with God during
this time, believers. because you don't know the specific
time when God's gonna come, just like the flood. They didn't know
the flood was coming. Folks, and if you don't come
to Sunday nights or you haven't read through Genesis, this may,
here's maybe a little enlightenment. When Noah was building the ark
in 2348 BC, how many times had it rained on the earth? Goose
egg. See, wait a minute, it hadn't
rained, for close to 2,000 years? Nope. The Bible makes it very
clear that God watered the ground. Basically, he made the mist come
up and that's how this earth was watered until the floods
came. People had no clue what an ark
was. What do you need an ark for out here? Where's the water
gonna come from? Hey, it's gonna flood. You need
to turn to Jesus. You need to turn to the Lord.
And the people are like, yeah, whatever, Noah, you're nuts.
They didn't buy it. Well, same thing's gonna happen
during the tribulation when the Antichrist, the false Christ,
if you will, is sending out his false message about basically
worship Satan, the beast, and the false prophet. All right,
but know this, we'll end on this one, that if the good men of
the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would
have watched and would have not suffered his house to be broken
up. All right, again, he's talking
about this is not a good thing. When Jesus returns to take his
home, is that like something we should be scared of? No, that's
a good thing. But he's saying, listen, in judgment,
when Jesus is going to return at the seven-year tribulation
period, you better be watchful, folks. You better be understanding
that God is coming here. And he said, you need to be prepared,
just like somebody who is expecting a thief to enter into his home
and is prepared. Now, I know, folks, you do what
you do at your home. I do what I do at mine. Some
of you, you got shotguns by the doors. You got 23 locks on the
door. You got booby traps all over
the place. It's kind of like home alone
at your home. and I mean, you're sitting ready
for anything. And he's saying, listen, that's
how people, if they're prepared, if they understand that the burglars
come and the robbers come and the person that's gonna cause
you harm, they get prepared. And he says, know this, that
the good man, you're basically saying, I'm calling you to be
watchful. I'm calling you to pay attention. Now folks, there's gonna be 28
major signs during the tribulation period. billions of people that
are going to die, there's gonna be catastrophic things taking
place, and yet people are still gonna be blinded to the spiritual
truth. I mean, it really is, it's mind-boggling
how people can be so blinded. All right, can I give a nasty
illustration to end here? You're like, some say yes, some
say, what do you mean by nasty? Not that kind of nasty. Okay, just think about this.
Most of you in this room, you're conservative Christians. Over the last four years, you
and I have watched things happen and you're like, how can people
buy into some of this stuff? How can they buy into the socialist
agenda? How can they buy into, just like
happened this week, How in the world can you be giving a medal
to George Soros who hates Christianity? He hates conservatism. How in
the world can that happen in our country? What in the world
is wrong with us? By the way, George Soros spent, I heard,
at least $500,000 against me when I ran for sheriff. Thanks,
George. I don't care about George Soros
from that standpoint. I do care and wish he would get
saved. What in the world's wrong with our country? And you look
at these things and you're saying what I just did. How in the world
can we be so stupid? How in the world can so many
people fall down this rabbit hole of following that which
is globalism, which is totally anti-biblical? How can they fall
into the abortion pit? How can they fall into that transgender
surgeries and puberty blockers for children and putting sexually
explicit things into the public schools? All that is great according
to a great percentage of our people, and we're sitting there
and going, how can you be so stupid? And I'm saying this on
purpose, excuse the language, if you will. It's like, how can
they be that blinded? How can they not understand where
this is leading? Let's just go back. For as in the days that were
before the flood, eating and drinking, marrying and giving
in marriage, living things their own way, doing everything, not
realizing what was coming. And all of a sudden they're all
dead. Eight people saved. So when you see the nonsense
that's taking place, here's my conclusion. You may have a different
one, but this is my conclusion. 2 Corinthians chapter four, verse
four. A verse everybody should memorize.
2 Corinthians 4.4. Who is the small g God of this
world? Voila. Any more questions? You
see, Satan is in control of this world. God has given him tremendous
latitude. And in the last days after the
rapture, before Jesus Christ returns to set up his kingdom
on earth, it's going to be just like that. Horrible, horrible,
and more horrible. People rejecting God, people
living just like they did in the days of Noah. So again, when
we're reading this, are there signs like this occurring today?
Absolutely. They've been around for 2,000
years. But in that final time before the second coming happens,
this is specifically written to those that will be alive during
that generation. Chapter 24, verse 34, during
that generation that sees these things, you better look out,
you better be watchful because Jesus is absolutely positively
returning and he's gonna wipe out every single thing that's
opposing him. You can go through Revelation
19, 11 to 21 and read about it. Father, thank you for this. Precious
Word of God. Lord, as always, we encourage
all of us to exercise 2 Timothy 2, verse 15, to study, to show
ourselves approved unto God, workmen, workwomen that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly handling, rightly dividing the word of
truth. Father, we're thankful that many
of these things that we just read about technically will not
happen while we're still here on this earth as Christians.
But Lord, all these things we see at least to some degree.
We see the corruption happening. We see the turn from God. We
see the small amount of Christians that exist worldwide. Father,
help us to do what we can this week. Help us to stay firm with
you. Help us to love you like never
before. Help us to realize that we're spiritually alive. And
then Father, help us to spread the gospel, to help others who
don't know Jesus to find Him before their Last breath is breathe. Dismiss us with your blessing,
please. We commit our day to you in Jesus name. Amen. Thanks
folks.
