Are you ready? All right. Title of the message today is Babylon in prophecy. Wake up Babylon in prophecy. Wake up your Holy father. I do pray for the preaching of thy word today. You stir us up God that we would have ears to hear and we would hear father. Motivate us God. And you've done so much. We thank you Lord. So much is going on in the news. So many things right before our eyes. How can we not discern these times 2020 Lord? Very few of your saints believe that anyone would even be here right now. In this world, at least help us today in Jesus name. Amen. I used to do a year in review from a prophetic standpoint. I'm not going to say we're never going to do that. But so much happens almost every day. It can appear overwhelming. I used to have a kingdom alert where once a week I would just talk about some things that happened significantly in regard to our Lord's coming kingdom and his coming. And it got to be overwhelming. It got to be where every day there was something. And I could speak right now of the UFOs in the news almost every day this past year. We could take a look at the coming robot, AI priests. These things that people have today are going to take over the clergy and people are gonna look at them as oracles like they did in ancient Rome and ancient Greece. It seems impossible that Christians could be asleep such a time as this. But the Bible predicted they would be. The Bible said when you see all of these things, another sign would be prevalent. Christians, many of them, would fall asleep. How could that be? One way, now we know the main way is through Satan, but Satan has many means that he uses, many instruments. And as stage setting signs abound, so do new inventions, new technology. Therefore Satan's able to use signs and wonders of new technology, new toys, new gadgets, new things to thrill you, to amuse and seduce you. So I decided to take this first Lord's Day of the New Year and take a look at some histories and prophecies of Babylon. Let's begin at the beginning, Genesis chapter 10. It says, and Cush begat Nimrod. He began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord, wherefore it is said, even as Nimrod, the mighty hunter before the Lord, that was spread around in the days before Internet, or maybe they did have Internet back then, I don't know. I don't believe they did at that time. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, notice that, and Erech, and Akkad, and Canaan, the land of Shinar. And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech. And it came to pass as they journeyed from the east that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. And they said, go to let us build us a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven. And let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. In other words, they are going to try to resist the breakup of their unity, their rebellious unity. You can go to Epcot Center and see how all nations of the earth are gathered together now in the same way. They also want to make themselves a name. They also want to reach up into the heavens by whatever means. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language, and this they begin to do. Go to, let us go down, and confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. In other words, he needed to put a hindrance in man's unity because of the rebellion that is innate in man. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth, that the book of Acts says that they might seek after God. And they left off to build the city. That is, that they would be hindered from their rebellion of trying to conquer outer space. The Bible says that the earth was made for man, but the heavens belong to God. Everything really belongs to God, but he has a place for man to live, for man to have dominion. Therefore is the name of it called Babel, Babel, because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth. And from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. What I introduced to you here is the kingdom of Babylon, a satanic kingdom of rebellion, a one world government, a one world government with a desire to conquer the heavens under one man named Nimrod. The mighty rebel never reached his lofty goal. The goal was satanically inspired. This all is going to be replayed in the future. When another rebel is coming, an Antichrist, another Antichrist, the Antichrist, who is going to unite the world in a one world government, and again, the heavens is the goal. Godhood. being like God. Isaiah also reveals a prophecy against the king of Babylon, just like we see the first king of Babylon here. In doing so, Satan, Isaiah looks back to Satan. He also looks back to this first king of Babylon. He looks back to the Tower of Babel, and then he goes further back to not only what Satan did through Nimrod, but what Satan did with the angels when he was at one time the ruler of this world. Isaiah looks back to the fall of Lucifer himself, this same spirit that keeps manifesting over and over again throughout history. But while he's looking back to Satan and his first fall with the angels, and looking back to Nimrod possessed by Satan, and looking at the king of Babylon who was then at that time gathering the whole world under his domain, He was looking forward to a future king of Babylon, so to speak, possessed by Satan, called the coming Antichrist. Let's read it. So as we read this, God tells us that he is pointing backwards as well as pointing forward. Let's look at Isaiah 14. Thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon and say, how hath the oppressor ceased? The golden city ceased. God destroyed it one time. He scattered them. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer? As he speaks of the king of Babylon, he begins to go way back in time and speak of Lucifer, Satan, son of the morning. How art thou cut down to the ground which did weaken the nations? For thou hast said in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven. Notice these five eyes. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north. He appears to be saying, I'm going to take God's throne. I'm going to take the throne of David and I'm also going up and I'm going to be like the most high. The antichrist is going to have both goals. He's going to have an outer space goal and really seduce the world into thinking that they can be gods. And he's also going to sit in the temple of God on the throne of David, so to speak, showing himself that he is God. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high. That's what he seduced Eve with. That's what he seduced the first kingdom of Babylon with. And that's what the antichrist will be bringing to this world. Yet thou shall be brought down to hell to the sides of the pit, says God. We certainly see that with Satan in Revelation chapter 20. as he is bound and thrown into the pit of hell. This wicked spirit of Lucifer, this spirit of Babylon has filled 20th century science fiction. The whole 20th century science fiction movement has been filled with this luciferic theosophy. Most of them were theosophists. The books, the comics, the radio programs, the TV shows, the movies, the movies, the movies, the movies. E.T., I mean, it just goes on and on and on. They have filled children and adults with this occult dream of immortality and godhood in outer space. It's really the old dream of the Mormons, the occult dream of the Mormons brought into everyone's living room. You are going to be a god in outer space. Our leaders are gods. They have the keys to lead us toward godhood, populating outer space. It's all preparing for the big showdown in the coming tribulation period as this lie of the Antichrist and the false prophet convince the world that they are evolved aliens or they've reached some type of evolutionary status. And the world learns of evil aliens and begins to do battle with Moses and Elijah. And finally, the Lord Jesus Christ himself as they make war with him as he comes in the second coming. Babylon later appears again in the Bible as Judea is besieged, as Jeremiah warned it would be. And the Jews are taken away captive to Babylon for 70 years. Look at 2 Kings 24. Nebuchadnezzar again, the king of Babylon, came against the city and his servants did besiege it. Many years before this captivity, it was predicted that Babylon would be destroyed. It would do God's will and then it would be destroyed. The Bible shows that another kingdom would come, the kingdom of the Medes and Persians, and would overcome Babylon almost without a fight as they dammed the river and go under the walls of the city while the nobles held a drunken feast as we see in Daniel 5. But as Isaiah is looking toward this future rise and fall of Babylon, he goes beyond. Babylon being conquered by the Medes and Persians. And he begins to speak of a future Babylon that will be utterly destroyed. What does this teach us? It teaches us that Babylon was never utterly destroyed in the way the Bible described, and that it must be revived in the future. Isaiah 13, the burden of Babylon, which Isaiah, the son of Amoz did see. He says in verse 10, the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light. And the sun shall be darkened in his going forth. And the moon shall not cause her light to shine. These are apocalyptic, tribulational judgments upon the earth and heavens. This has not occurred. to this degree. Notice, he says, I will punish the world for their evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will make a man more precious than fine gold. Therefore, I will shake the heavens and the earth shall remove out of her place in the wrath of the Lord of hosts and in the day of his fierce anger. So what we're dealing with is what's called a double prophecy, just like you see in Matthew 24 about AD 70, but is going to be replayed in fullness in the tribulation period. In A.D. 70, they actually looked up in the sky, according to historians outside the Bible, and they saw chariots racing through the sky. They described them and said they could not believe the signs that were in the heavens around A.D. 70. We're starting to see these things right now, and it's going to continue to increase as we move forward the real final ultimate fulfillment of Matthew 24, the Olivet Discourse. So what we see here is a double prophecy in the book of Isaiah. Double prophecy is all throughout the Bible. In the first application, he says, behold, I will stir up the Medes against them. That does happen in the book of Daniel. And it says in verse 19 that Babylon, the glory of the kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. Now that's pretty apocalyptic. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation, neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there, but the wild beasts of the desert shall lie there. Listen to me now. The first application of this prophecy was with the Medes and Persians, but this looked on to the tribulation period where there will be utter destruction. And what this means is the city of Babylon will revive. I want you to notice that when the Medes and Persians took over Babylon, the city continued. It says in Ezra chapter 5, but in the first year of Cyrus, the king of who? The king of what? The king of Babylon. Why is Cyrus, the king of Persia, called the king of Babylon? Because Cyrus now controls Babylon. He is the king of Babylon. Whoever has control over the city of Babylon is now the king of Babylon. Cyrus the Persian is the king of Babylon because he conquered Babylon. This is an important principle. Peter, by the time you get to the first century, 1 Peter 5, Peter says, the church that is at Babylon elected together with you, saluted you. There were Christians in Babylon, there was a church there. So we see there awaits a final full fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy of utter destruction for Babylon. It's not merely the desolation mentioned, but also all of these apocalyptic statements concerning the shaking of the earth and the darkening of the heaven. and the judgment upon the whole world. And we must not forget chapter 14 of Isaiah that shows Lucifer possessing a past and a future king of Babylon. This spirit of Babylon and the one world government has been gaining steam for some time. Here you can see an artist's rendition of the Tower of Babel on the left that was done many centuries ago. And then you can see a poster for the United Kingdom of Europe, the European Union. And you can see, notice, they have the unfinished Tower of Babel, and they're bragging about bringing all the world together in one voice. And what they did was they took the stars of the EU and flipped them upside down to be a goat head, satanic pentagram. It's an amazing thing to see. They are pretty much mocking God. I've pointed this out for many, many years as we've been watching this arise. I remember being eight years old or so and being told at a summer camp back then when they really had preaching at the YMCA, and they said, in your day and age, son, you're going to grow up and you're going to see a computer technology to control the world's finances. You're going to be able to see a coming European Union and European government that's going to come together and control the whole world with Rome as the headquarters. And this is something that prophecy scholars have been noticing for hundreds of years. Here's the actual EU Parliament that they built to model the actual Tower of Babel. So there are satanic forces, there are occult forces that are involved in the various governments of the world. Jeremiah begins to speak. In Jeremiah 50, he says, How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken? How has Babylon become a desolation among the nations? Jeremiah, who predicted the 70 years captivity under the king of Babylon, also predicted the downfall of Babylon. He says, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities thereof, saith the Lord, so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein. He goes on in chapter 51 to say, flee out of the midst of Babylon and deliver every man his soul. Be not cut off in her iniquity. This is a principle that we need to apply today in anything that is a daughter of Babylon. any church, any cult, any spiritual movement, but also any city. There's some practical lessons here that some places are just not fit to live. If our pilgrim forefathers left certain places in Holland, et cetera, to come here where they could raise their children without worldliness, how much so is that principle today applied? to many of the cities of the US and the world. There comes a time when you must leave a place. Go in and witness when you need to, but you must leave a place. You must get away from Sodom, lest you be cut off in their iniquity. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand that made all the earth drunken. We'll talk about that. The nations have drunken of her wine, that's spiritual and physical. Therefore the nations are mad. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed. O thou that dwellest upon many waters, Notice Babylon had two rivers that they dwelt between. Abundant in treasures, thy end is come. And thou shalt not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations, but thou shalt be desolate forever, saith the Lord. This has never been fulfilled yet. And thou shalt say, thus shalt Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her. When Babylon is finally judged, it will not rise again. And every word of this prophecy will be fulfilled as written. There are other prophecies, but the next major prophecies are found in the book of Daniel and in the book of Revelation. Daniel shows that Persia will conquer Babylon. We know this from history and from the Bible. It says in Daniel 2, thou, O king, art a king of kings. He's the king of Babylon. For the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And after thee, after the kingdom of Babylon, shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee. inferior in its law and its ability to enforce that law. They call it the law of the Medes and Persians. Even the king himself could not alter it. Nebuchadnezzar was more of an autocratic king, could do as he willed. So this kingdom that arises after the kingdom of Babylon, we know from the book of Daniel and from history, it's the kingdom of Persia. In Daniel 5, This is the interpretation of the thing, meaning God hath numbered thy kingdom and finished it. Tycho, thou art weighed in the balances, says Daniel, and art found wanting. Peres, thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. So what happened is we know the Medes and Persians conquered the kingdom of Babylon. After Persia, which is now called Iran, would come the kingdom of Greece under Alexander the Great. Under Alexander, the Babylon kingdom revived. The city of Babylon revived as a center of learning and commerce. So this prophecy was not utterly fulfilled. In the days of Alexander, Babylon thrived as a cultural city. Then after the kingdom of Greece came the kingdom of Rome at the time of Christ and the apostles. And we've already seen that Peter shows a church in Babylon when the Bible says not an Arabian would pitch a tent there. Is the Bible wrong? That's what many would say. Many liberals, many atheists would say, well, the Bible just is speaking, you know, generically, the Bible is not speaking literally. You can't trust the Bible. No, we know. That when God says something, He means it. The last book of the Bible shows that the kingdom of Babylon will revive. The spirit of Babylon was found in Rome, where it still resides today. But there will come a time when it will also revive upon its original base in its original place. Zechariah 5 says, this is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, where do these bear the ephah? And he said unto me, to build it a house in the land of Shinar, and it shall be established and set there upon her own base. This pagan wickedness, this pagan occultism is going to be Placed, established, revived upon its own base in the land of Shinar, where it all began. Therefore the best interpreters of the 19th century from Pember to Fry Govet on and on and on. They saw revelation 17, which I do as speaking of mystery Babylon, which it plainly says. And then it shows you geographically that Mystery Babylon is upon seven mountains. The heads are the symbol. The explanation of the symbol are mountains. You cannot make mountains to be a symbol of something. It says this is a city that now reigns over the kingdoms of the world. That was the city of Rome. A city that reigns over the kingdoms of the world. That is the city of Rome. It says this city is upon seven heads and it defines the heads as seven mountains. You cannot make mountain to be a symbol. There is a city somewhere called the seven mountain city that was reigning over the kings of the earth at the time of John. That is Rome. Revelation 17 speaks of Rome. It was called the seven-hilled city on coins and classically by writers all throughout the ages. Why is it called Mystery Babylon? Because it has the spirit of Babylon. Because it has the wickedness of Babylon. It has the original paganism. Where do you think all these Catholic priests dressed in dresses, walking around with all this pagan homosexuality, molesting of children. Where do you think that came from? It came from Babylon. The Catholic Church is just a religious movement bringing Christianity to mix with the world's religions, but mainly the world paganism. And what it is, it's a mixture of paganism, just like the early Gnosticism, it's a mixture of paganism with a little bit of dressing of Christianity. So what does this mean in Revelation 17? It means that Rome will continue to grow and prosper as a city and it will survive the current cultural backlash due to the fact that it has thousands of sodomite child molesting priests. How can they survive this? How could Rome ever survive what's happening among its priests. Very simple, very simple. At the same time, Rome is being exposed, and all these priests and bishops, et cetera, are exposed as covering up and molesting. As that's occurring, you also have the biggest movement just rolling like a snowball to basically normalize homosexuality, of course, which has already happened, transgenderism, which has already happened, but now is picking up steam to normalize pedophilia. So what's going to happen is Rome doesn't have to do anything. Its image is going to be improved because the whole world is going to wake up and say there's nothing wrong with what these priests have done. How is this occurring? It's occurring because children are put in erotic context over and over again and sexualized. You've got Christian parents dressing their children in erotic ways. You've got girls coming to church in erotic ways that any man, anybody, any woman can look at and say, oh wow, she looks like a harlot. She looks like what you're seeing in one of these billboards. She looks like what they're showing in Hollywood. If Baptists are dressing their children in erotic ways, girls at 8 years old, 12 years old, if they are dressing them in erotic ways, what do you think is happening out here in the rest of the world? Now, why are children being sexualized in this way? Why is the age of consent being lowered? and lowered and lowered in states as well as countries around the world. See, what's happening is pretty soon there will be no pedophilia. They'll say if the child was willing, then there's no crime. Right now, Catholics are begging Mary, so-called, to save them from this reproach that has come upon them. And while this is happening, you have psychologists, you have writers, almost every month or so, there's some article in the news about another writer, another person who is trying to perfume pedophilia. You're having all these talks, these TED Talks, where they're coming out saying there's nothing innately wrong with this, or these people are born this way. The psychologists right now are saying it's just a disorder. It's just a disorder. And you know what they always do, just like with homosexuality, pretty soon it won't be a disorder. And they always test things. They publish something to say it's not a disorder. Everybody goes crazy. They say, oh, that was a mistake. And they test the waters. They test the climate. But they're going to keep pushing this thing. And as children continue to be sexualized, as they continue the lower laws, pretty soon people are going to say, you know what? Just like they say it's OK to have this wicked fornication education in the schools. Just like they say, well, it's okay for the children to fornicate. There's nothing wrong with that. Just let them keep on pushing. Keep on pushing. Right now, Rome, which is already a pagan homosexual movement, is joining with the charismatic movement, which is a spirit of Jezebel. Anywhere the charismatic movement is found, it causes women to be Jezebels and masculine, and it causes men to be effeminate. Now it's all mixing up into one world religion. Wow. Well, we see in Zechariah that this wickedness, something's going to happen to the Catholic Church. It's going to be destroyed, and we're going to see this wickedness set up in its own land upon its own base in Shinar. That's why many interpreters believe for hundreds of years that the book of Revelation, though Revelation 17 speaks of the Catholic Church in the city of Rome, the book of Revelation in chapter 18, though the same spirit and much of the same thing said, is now speaking of literal Babylon. Revelation 18, a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea saying, thus with violence shall the great city Babylon be thrown down and shall be found no more at all. You can see that also in Revelation 16, Babylon is fallen, is fallen where it's repeated. My second sermon was on How so many of our forefathers have warned for hundreds of years that one day the Catholic Church would come back in power and all religions and all denominations would go back to the Catholic Church. I'm not saying that Baptist ever began in the Catholic Church, but many of these denominations came out of the Catholic Church, see. And so they predicted a time when Protestants, so-called, would no longer be Protestant. And evangelical Christians would unite back with Rome. So I was very troubled when in the 90s many books began to come out. Just when John Paul II was praying to Mary and looking for a sign and standing before a bunch of world religions and people that worship snakes and voodoo worshipers and saying to the God of us all, just as This man was doing everything he could do to be the Antichrist. There was an eclipse when he was born. They wanted to make him a saint. I think they did. I can't remember. At the same time, there was a movement where Protestant evangelical Christians were saying, Rome is saying the same thing that we say about the gospel. We're all saying the same thing. And Christians were losing. their understanding about the danger of Roman Catholicism. So I've showed over and over and over how this was all predicted. Revelation 17 says Rome will revive. Well, at the same time, they began to say, you know what? All these prophecies about Babylon in the Bible are literal. Well, that's good. But then they went over to Revelation 17, they said, we don't have to worry about the Catholic Church anymore. We just have to worry about literal Babylon. So everybody, that's what they wanted to do because people have big ministries, they want Roman Catholics to listen to their ministry and be donors and supporters and they don't want to offend Catholics on the radio or in their ministry. And what happened is it gave Catholicism a free pass as everybody turned to literal Babylon. But when you go back and read some of our forefathers, They foresaw all of this. They foresaw that you would have both the Roman Catholic church as mystery Babylon, as well as literal Babylon being revived. That it's not an either or situation that you could have both of them occurring in the book of revelation. And that is my view. But let's pick this back up. It was an amazing thing. as authors began to show the rebuilding of Babylon under Saddam Hussein. In 1978, Saddam Hussein of Iraq... Babylon is in Iraq. And remember there was a Babylonian kingdom as well as the city of Babylon. Saddam Hussein of Iraq started the archaeological restoration of Babylon project. How amazing that is. In 1948, Israel was restored as a nation when so many said it would not happen. And then you get 1978, right here before the eyes of everybody, there's the restoration of Babylon by a king who calls himself the King of Babylon. They said it couldn't happen. Abigail, open that window for me. The first Babylon International Festival was held in 1987. Now they're having international festivals year after year after year. Saddam Hussein placed a portrait of himself and Nebuchadnezzar at the entrance of the ruins of Babylon. In 2003, Saddam's reconstruction plans for Babylon ceased with the invasion of Iraq. Babylon came under the control of U.S. troops and later Polish forces. But then a strange thing happened in 2005. The site was handed over to the Iraqi Minister of Culture. But who's controlling them? Who is the Iraqi Ministry of Culture? In 2006, there were again plans to restore Babylon. Throughout all of these years, we're having an end-of-the-year prophecy watch, and you can go back and get those tapes, where we are looking at the revival of Babylon, we are looking at the literal prophecies concerning Babylon, and here it is, just year after year after year, it is just marching on. It is no time for Christians to be losing their minds in insanity, to be mad with the rest of the world. It's time to wake up and get sober in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is no time to backslide. Unbelievable. What happened in 2006? According to the New York Times, UNESCO, the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, United Nations now, wow, intends to put the magic back in Babylon. Oh, that's a little more literal than figurative. They know what they're saying. Intends to put the magic back in Babylon. Signs of military occupation are everywhere, they say. In Babylon. Babylon, the city with the million-dollar name, has paid the price of war. It has been ransacked, looted, torn up, paved over, neglected, and roughly occupied. Well, God said it would be. But you haven't seen anything yet. Archaeologists said American soldiers have even used soil thick with priceless artifacts to stuff sandbags. But Iraqi leaders and UN officials are not giving up on it. They are working assiduously to restore Babylon. They want to turn it into a cultural center, just as our forefathers predicted. Go back and read Afray and others who said the whole world will look at Babylon as a cultural center. Then all of a sudden they got their dream come true that they've been working on. 2019 Babylon became a United Nations world heritage site, BBC news, July 5th, 2019. Right up under your nose. You say, where is the promise of his coming? Where is the God of judgment? And right under your nose here, you just. Read the news. BBC News says ancient city of Babylon designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site has suffered in recent years, first from the construction of a palace for Saddam Hussein and later from being used as a base for U.S. troops. I'm telling you that when the nation of Israel became a nation, every Christian, and many of them did, should have got on their face and had a prayer meeting and said, God have mercy upon us. Your word is true. How glorious this is. And as this Babylon is being rebuilt by Saddam Hussein and now by the United Nations, Every Christian ought to get on their face and say, Lord, we worship you. You are amazing. Your word is amazing. The Middle East Institute says one can only imagine that Marduk, the supreme god of Babylon to whom local ladies still ask for intercession at a recently reconstructed medieval shrine, is well pleased that Babylon has been officially recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Oh yeah, oh Marduk is pleased. Satan himself, Satan himself, or that devil who possesses the ancient god of Babylon. You better believe the spirit of Nimrod, the spirit of Satan, Lucifer. You better believe he's pleased, because it's all in his hands. It's all in his hands, in the hands of Masons who see Babylon. And the Theosophists and Masons and occultists see Babylon as the original birthplace of magic and occultism. But listen to me now. As all this is going on, as Babylon's being restored culturally, rebuilt, A strange thing is happening, a very strange thing. Modern Iran, not long ago, was named Persia. So when you look in the Bible and you read about Persia, that's Iran. When you read about Babylon, that's Iraq. I purposely quote Wikipedia just to show that this is commonplace news. This isn't something you got to dig in Bible prophecy books. Iran, also called Persia. There you go. Nobody doubts that. Iran also called Persia. Well, what can we learn from all of this? Well, when you open the book of Daniel, you see that who conquered Babylon? Persia, the Median Persians. It said that plainly. But they conquered Babylon without much of a fight. You can read about it in Daniel 5. Belteshazzar was partying. Everybody was partying. And old Daniel told them, it's over for you, they're riding on the wall. And sure enough, they'd been invaded. We know from other historians that they just went right up under, they dammed up the river, went right under the walls, and while everybody's partying, it was just barely a fight, they took over the whole city of Babylon. And the king of Persia became the king of Babylon. It's very interesting and few have noticed that this is all replaying today in a very different way. Iran has quietly conquered Babylon. It's almost like we're reading the book of Daniel in a different way. You could go to thetower.org in December 2016. The Iranian empire is almost complete, is the headline. Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq are nearly fully under Iran's control. It is the culmination of a decades-long plan. Not long ago, the New York Times, November the 19th, 2019, says the Iran cables, secret documents show how Tehran wields power in Iraq. It was not the first time General Soleimani, where have we heard that? He was the one that was just blown up by Trump. It was not the first time General Soleimani had been dispatched to Baghdad to do damage control. Now leaked Iranian documents offer a detailed portrait of just how aggressively Tehran has worked to embed itself into Iraqi affairs, and of the unique role of General Soleimani. The leaked cables offer an extraordinary glimpse inside the secretive Iranian regime. They also detail the extent to which Iraq has fallen under Iranian influence since the American invasion in 2003, which transformed Iraq into a gateway for Iranian power. One thing Saddam Hussein had was it was a different branch of the Muslim religion compared to the Sunnis in Iran. And it put up a roadblock to Iran's goal of conquering Babylon. Well, once we got rid of Saddam Hussein, it was all gone. It was all gone. It was all over. Iran was able to come in and take over, in a very quiet fashion, Babylon. The notion that the Americans handed control of Iraq to Iran when they invaded now enjoys broad support even within the United States military. This is not long ago, folks, where people in our own military said, we just gave it to Iran. We just gave it to Iran. Here's a Sunni provincial official in Iraq and a critic of Iran. She says they just toppled the regime and handed the country over to Iran. Here's a headline from just the other day. Former Vice President Joe Biden reportedly played a decisive role in enabling recently assassinated Iranian terror leader Soleimani to push the United States out of Iraq and deliver the country into the hands of Iran. A headline says MSNBC airs stunning claim that Iran backed attackers or war heroes. We even got people in our own government that are pro-Iran. Now I want you to notice. Where are we at? Babylon's being rebuilt. It's been taken over by America. America withdraws. For all intents and purposes, Iran comes in and controls through the new Iraqis. It's under a UN control, but the Iranians are pretty much in control of Babylon. Now what happens? Daniel 8, I saw the ram. The ram is Iran. We're gonna learn that in just a second. I saw the ram pushing westward, that's toward us, and northward and southward so that no beast might stand before him. Neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand, but he did according to his will and became great. The nation of Iran becomes great with this king. And as I was considering, behold, a he goat. came from the west on the face of the whole earth and touched not the ground. And the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. In the first fulfillment of this, Alexander the Great from Greece comes over and destroys Iran, the Persian power. And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I'd seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power. And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler, that's irritation, against him, and smote the ram and break his two horns. And there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground and stamped upon him. Therefore, the he-goat waxed very great." That's the first application. Alexander the Great destroys Persia. When the angel describes the interpretation, he says in verse 17, understand, O son of man, at the time of the end shall be the vision. Meaning that what occurred at the time of Daniel or a few years, a hundred years after that, what occurred in the Old Testament times was only a stage setting for the future fulfillment. The rambler shall saw us having two horns of the kings of Media and Persia, and the rough goat is the king of Grisha. Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of that nation, but not in his power. And in the latter time of the kingdom, when the transgressors are come to a full, a king of fierce countenance and understanding dark sentences shall stand up, that's the Antichrist, and his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power. And he shall destroy wonderfully and shall prosper in practice and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also, he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand, witchcraft, I believe. And he shall magnify himself in his heart and by peace shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the prince of princes, but he shall be broken without hand. What am I saying? I'm saying what we plainly see here is an angel saying that in the last days, Iran will rise. And then a leader from the West will come on the face of the whole earth and will smite and destroy that power. Then that leader will become great. His kingdom will become great. And then that will dissolve into four kingdoms. And out of one of those four shall come the antichrist and he will make war with Jesus and the Lord shall overcome him. I have been looking at this since the early 1990s. As we've been watching Iraq and Iran and Daniel chapter eight, it does seem that this leader from the West, though there may be other things in the future that manifest itself. We just continue to watch and read, but it is quite amazing to see right now. Our president from the West moved with anger. blowing up the chief generals and chief leaders of Iran, where is this all going? Where is this all going? In some ways we could be right now, right in the middle of Daniel chapter 8. So what is God saying to us right now about all of these things? Let me give you Revelation 8. I heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her, my people, that you be not partaker of her sins, that you receive not of her plagues. I don't think any of you are living in the literal city of Babylon, but if you were, I'd say come out from among that city. But many are living in cities that are the spirit of Babylon all over the world, are they not? I think God's saying come out from among them. Just as Lot planted his tent toward Sodom, just as Lot planted his tent toward that wicked city. And what happened to his family? Look how morally confused they ended up being. He got some of his daughters out, but look how morally confused they were. Look what happened to his wife. He lost his wife. He didn't get out of Babylon fast enough. That spirit was on her. Babylon was in her heart. Sodom was in her heart. Even Lot didn't want to leave the city he had got so comfortable. And he begged the angels not to have to go up to the mountain until the fire came. And then it says, Lot took off to the mountains. Folks, when you start seeing the judgment that's going to come down upon these cities, it's time to get out from among them. The Lord Jesus says, when you see the image stand in the holy place, you better get to the mountains. You better get to the hills. I'm all for soul winning. You better believe we better witness. We better let our light shine, but you also better get your families out of these wicked cities and America that are becoming. almost impossible to live in without somehow being affected by their sin. Now that doesn't mean you move up to the mountains and bring in a giant television so we just end up basically seducing with the spirit of Babylon right here in our living room. What's the use of leaving Sodom if you're going to bring Sodom into your living room? God gives two reasons to get out of Babylon. that you be not partaker of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues. Moses said the same thing, so to speak. In number 16, he's speaking to the congregation saying, depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked man and touch nothing of theirs lest you be consumed in all their sins. So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah. You better watch who you're around. You better watch. Because their sins will jump on you. And not only that, their judgments will jump on you. If fire's coming down on top of somebody, I tell you what, if somebody's blaspheming God, and you think they're about to get struck by lightning, people have enough sense to get away. Somebody starts blaspheming God, they start backing up. Why? They say, because if lightning comes down, I don't want to be hit by it. Well, folks, if you've got cities blaspheming God everywhere, you better get out from among these people. Our Lord says, when you see all these things, he said, Luke 21, take heed to yourselves. I mean, stop and think about what you're doing, Church of God, lest at any time your hearts be over, lest your mind and emotions be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life, so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. So I tell you, as you see earthquakes, as you see UFOs, as you see people betraying one another, as you see Christian persecution arising, as you see strange weather patterns, as you see Babylon being rebuilt, as you see the nation of Israel and the one world government forming, as you see all of these things, watch therefore and pray always that you may be a kind and worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass. and stand before the Son of Man. How are you going to escape all these things, folks? The Lord says it plainly. Two will be in one bed, one will be taken, the other left. He says to Revelation chapter 3 of the Church of Philadelphia, because you've kept the word of my patience, I'll keep you from the hour that's coming. He says you better watch and pray always that you can escape all these things and stand before the Son of Man. In the Old Testament, there was a man that was preaching against all the wickedness in the days right before Noah's flood. His name was Enoch. The Bible said he pleased God. And look in the book of Jude if you want to see one of his sermons to the world. Boy, he was in the way of the world. He was making them mad. He was taking on the whole world as he was preaching against these murmurers and complainers and filthy dreamers and all these sensual people. And he was telling them the Lord cometh with 10,000 of his saints. And he was preaching. And the Bible said one day he was not, for the Lord took him. If you don't mind, I think I'm just going to pray. Lord, how about a count me worthy to escape? All these things are coming from an escape from the strife of tongues. The Bible said it's going to get so bad that the strife of tongues is going to be falsely accusing you everywhere. And God's going to look down and save some people from the strife of tongues. Whoever leteth will let till he be taken out of the way. Enoch was taken. Say, I don't believe in no rapture. I don't believe you're going to escape tribulation. I'm not trying to escape tribulation, but I do pray every day, Lord, lead me not into temptation. Amen. I pray that every day. The Lord said you ought to pray every day. Lead me not into temptation, Lord. So the hour of temptation. It's a command of God that I pray every day to escape this hour of temptation that's coming upon the world. You better believe I'm gonna pray to escape this thing. And I'm gonna pray to escape it just like Enoch escaped it. You say, that's never gonna happen. Well, pardon me while I pray about it, amen? Then the Bible says, Luke 17, remember Lot's wife. Oh, we better not forget. You say, I'm going to get out one day. I'm going to get out one day. You better get out before that thing gets in you and gets in one of your family members. Amen. Well, you can't get out of this stuff fast enough. And if you've got out physically, you better get out spiritually. You better make sure that thing's not still under your bed somewhere. You better make sure those Babylonian garments that you didn't get out of Sodom, but you still got Sodomite garment. You better make sure that stuff's not under your bed somewhere and you've touched the unclean thing. That spirit will cling to you. You better get away from that spirit and awe that speaks of this wicked Babylonian sodomite world. Do you know what time you're living in, Church of God? You've got public schools backed by the American Academy of Pediatrics promoting right now injections of puberty blockers for young children. And they're going down now. They were just saying teenagers. Now they're going down to 12-year-old and younger. That means a child says, I'm transgender. I think I'm a girl, and it's really a boy, or it's a boy, and it says I'm a girl. They say, well, let's give you, it doesn't matter what your mama thinks. We'll take you away from your mama. It doesn't matter what your daddy thinks. Probably ain't got a daddy anyway, as they laugh. And they say, OK, so we're going to take your mama to court, your daddy to court, if they try to block it. We're going to give you puberty blockers. What is that? What is that? What they mean is endocrine disruptors. We're going to give you things that if you're a boy cause you to have more girl hormones and if you're a girl cause you to have more male hormones and block the ones that are for you for your own sex. Right now, this is happening in schools across America. You've got drag queen story times in libraries in cities around America, where transvestite, drag queen, transgender, whatever they are, come in with all their sickness and vileness and read these horrible stories. And if anybody stands up and says, this isn't right, this is sick, this is disgusting, everybody looks at them and yells at them and says, you're wicked. The only thing bad is you and your negative spirit. Get out of here." And they call the police on them. Folks, are you still carrying around a Babylonian spirit at such a time as this? Are you still defending Sodom at such a time as this? Let's beware of this movement. Watch your children. Beware of the harlot look on your girl. Beware of dressing your girls up like some stripper or some harlot. Beware of eroticizing your girls and saying, oh, I think that's cute. Look how cute that is. There's nothing cute about it. It's disgusting. God forbid you ought to be ashamed of yourselves in America with all of this going on, with everything you've seen in your generation. Are you going to let your children become sexualized? God forbid. There's nothing more beautiful upon this face of this whole earth. It's like a sunset, it's like a flower. God made woman and he made her beautiful, and she can be so beautiful that it's just like looking at a sunset. When it's done right, and when it's natural and pure and beautiful, there's nothing lustful about it, there's nothing erotic about it, it's just beautiful. It's the same thing, you look at that sunset and just sit here with just awe. God made woman with that strength and that power, and God forbid, You let that be taken away from her and let her be made masculine. And God forbid you let her be turned into some type of prostitute looking thing that they're doing to all the junior high school girls today. Get away from this movement, I say. A Georgia politician just the other day wants to make it a crime for children to receive any transgender related health care, which would include puberty blockers, endocrine disruptors. Church of God, I'm going to speak frankly with you right now. There's very few people out there right now that are trying to block these endocrine disruptors from being given to their children. But what I want to say that I've said for years, and I'm going to say plainly to you right now, you better listen to me like you've never listened before. They've already given endocrine disruptors to your children. The puberty blockers were already there. They're already given all of these things to your children. They've accomplished this. When many of the nations of the world are shaking their heads saying, enough is enough. We can't give these things to our children anymore. We're going to outlaw this pesticide. We are outlawing all the evidences here. America continues. Why America? What type of spirit of Babylon is on America? The Bible said that Babylon is going to pour out its wine upon all the world. I'm telling you, what type of spirit is in America today? It must be full with this pagan spirit because over and over again it is turning a blind eye to what these pesticides are doing. I can only say that somebody is plainly aware of what these pesticides are doing. They're plainly aware. They're plainly aware. I wanna know why more Christians are not aware of it. I could discuss BPA, I could discuss mercury, I could discuss any of these things, but let's just look at atrazine real quickly, the wine of Babylon. This is a pesticide, an herbicide that's sprayed primarily on corn, but also on sugar cane, just about every corn field in America. All the sugar cane, all the sugar, all the corn is sprayed just about with atrazine. Banned around the world, but sprayed upon American food crops. In November, recently the EPA announced it would allow 50% more atrazine in our waters, increasing the amount in public water. 50% more coming to the water supplies of America. I say unto you plainly, it is not just propaganda that is behind this homosexual movement, behind the effeminacy in the boys, and behind this masculine spirit that's in the women. There's a reason they hate things that are feminine. There's a reason these girls are growing up wanting to be tomboys. The farm belt is the bullseye for these toxic pesticides. Why is that? Well, that happens to be culturally the conservative heart of America. But the conservative heart of America is targeted. That's where the corn's grown, people. That's where the corn grows. Dr. Tyrone Hayes, a scientist at University of California, Berkeley, found severe sexual abnormalities in frogs exposed to atrazine. He's been sounding the alarm for years, study after study, showing that, listen, I put these frogs here, and look what happens. Atrazine, we use less than the amount that's in the water, and look what's happening to the frogs. He claims it turns male frogs into females. You can go to Live Science. You can go to Scientific American to look at it. Live Science in 2010 said, while previous work has shown atrazine can cause sexual abnormalities and frauds, such as hermaphrodotism, having both male and female sex organs, this study is the first to find that atrazine's effects are long-lasting and can influence reproduction in amphibians. Hayes and his colleagues raised 40 male African clawed frogs in water containing atrazine. The atrazine levels were about what frogs would experience in environments where the pesticide is used, but below the levels that the US Environmental Protective Agency considers safe for your drinking water. And I'll end with just telling you this. They took women from the area where those corn fields were growing. They looked at what's in their drinking water. They measured the estrogen that was in their body, and it was blocked. They compared it to people that did not have atrazine in their water. The women had way higher estrogen. They were more feminine. What am I trying to tell you? I'm trying to tell you, is your pastor crazy? Or have I been trying to warn you for 20 years to quit eating this stuff and drinking the water and start caring a little bit about endocrine disruption? Start caring about it. Because whether your children are masculine as boys or feminine as girls, we can do everything we can to have the right spirit here, the right Holy Spirit, that's gonna help your girls be feminine and help your boys be masculine. But I cannot, through preaching and our singing and our presence of our church, we cannot overrule the propaganda that you let in your houses. And it's hard for us to compete with the physical changes that you're causing to your children Hormonally, by what you're putting in their mouth. Wake up and start studying it. They are coming after your children. And it needs to stop, Christians need to say we're done. You're not giving blockers to my children. I'm going to do everything I can to stay away from it. So help me, God. Dear Holy Father, I know you made man and woman as your highest creation on earth. And you said it's good. But man has fallen as they reverse roles as the devil tempted them with sin. And something they put in their mouth. Lord, I do pray that we'll stay away from poisons. I pray this propaganda wine of Babylon will be resisted by your people in America today and all across the world. And I pray this physical wine with all the pharmaceutical drugs and mind-altering drugs, as well as the pesticides and all these hormones and antibiotics that are in the food, making children lower their immune system and making them sick, Lord, over and over again. And not only that, Father, but causing hormonal disruption, causing effeminate sissy boys, masculine, bold girls. Help us, God. Wake up your people. That we see the love of money is the root of all evil, and there's evil people that have a terrible agenda designed to make the whole world homosexual and pagan for population control and other nefarious purposes. Now, God, I do pray in the name of the Lord Jesus that you wake us up this year. Lord, maybe somebody listening to this message, I know there's some out there that have ears to hear. And they'll say, hey, man, I hear your preacher. Thank you for the exhortation and we're going to clean up our house. Lord, I've already seen changes. I know that I know that I know this is happening to your people. Help us now, Lord Jesus, holy name, I pray, amen.
