The Dawning Day

Salvation has to do with delivering people from sin's guilt and power and leading them into the fullness of holiness. This progressive journey is like a dawning day whereby the light increases more and more until the full brightness of the noon-day sun. This is the journey every believer is on. We will never be totally freed from the influences of sin this side of glory, but for Paul, it is vital that we realize the age we live in, namely, the age of the dawning day and thus he exhorts us to live in this light and reality through an intimate relationship with Jesus.
